Suggestion: Earbuds at 16.5–17 keys

17.5 is definitely too high, but not sure if 17 flat or 16.5-17 would be better. the 16.5 guys are either offline/unbumped or sold REALLY fast. 17 flat would be good too, it won't get accepted within a day, so we're at a week anyways

I've quickbought easily 25 in the past few days for 16.5 each, sold some for 17, rebought for 16.5. I personally don't have an opinion on whether 17 flat is better than this range, since whenever I bump my trade to buy another couple buds i get like 3 adds pretty quick.

But at the same time, I'm easily able to sell them for 17 on trade servers, and I've bought a lot of keys at 6 refined on trade servers.... so methinks high/lowballpost just isn't the best place to buy currency anymore. People just looking to flip for profit.

They go decently fast, but I personally wouldn't call it a quicksale, so to speak.

Proof looks good to the naked eye, but if you dig in deeper, you can see the people who sell for less than 17 keys sell really fast.

A flat price at 17 isn't impossible, but it's not the most efficient either, still though, 17 flat wouldn't be too bad

i bought 4 buds at 17 keys over a week ago when buds where over 18 keys, they need a drop as long as keys are still getting up, if you people want the buds to not loose value then stop selling them and stop buying keys at 6.33.

I have a kind of related question, with buds dropping in value all the unusuals are also dropping in value (due to their price being listed in buds).

What will happen with these hats value lowering, when it really isnt?

no they'll actually go up in listed value because they're tied to $, not buds

well the suggesters are bumping down the prices on unusuals to be in the same range as it was in buds before the usd thing so the key prices of unusuals will lower 1 per suggestion you should check the forums about it . it is a bit confusing:

first we bind the unusual to usd and then buds start to crash so unusual rise in buds but the keep the key to usd

now the suggesters are buming down the prices of the hats to mathc the buds consider them buds as pure or something and that bump down the key price of the hat

frustrating that is why i only sell in market

i calculate how many keys i want for me.how much buyer will have to pay to valve fees and listed to the market it is usally sold in 5 days if the price is descent.

Looked at the links; The only ones under 17 are either instantly sold or the users are offline. Looks like a quicksell price.

Just my 2 cents but in server they are going for 16 and ppl trying to get 17 for hours and not receiving a trade. Ill try to see if i have the one guy that tried for 17 keys with no bites.

servers is the place where more trades occure op bazaar classifieds and steam market together cant match the traffic trades have on servers.

for example a guy add me today to buy his keys at 25th octomber for 6 ref each he will buy like 10 12 keys fro trade for hats and stuff and he saw me looking to buy keys for 6 ref it was the best price he saw in a trade server so he add me to tell me to wait until he buy them...

Actually, you can prove the pricing there. Screenshots of what others are selling it for or trade history of you in particular making that trade possibly more than once at the price higher/lower than the listed price here. With that being said, server prices can be calculated and recorded, it is just much harder to do, which is probably likely why no one cares too much for using the server proof.

It wont, it will reach a point where it will be either the same or worth more than the man co store. Then keys will crash. Were not far, last time i checked they were worth $2

I've no clue. They and Bills have gone to pathetic prices. Back when I had even less of a valuable backpack (I'd say like 5 keys in total) I used to look up to the 22 and 9-key items that were Buds and Bills. Now look at this. I can afford 2 Bills with the prices they are now, and I could hardly afford one back when they were 9 keys. I feel that the economy is basically making a colossal tear in between Unusuals and Non-unusuals.

This is quickly becoming a world of the haves and have nots just as it has through history in Roman times, preceding the French Revolution, and even now in America. You are seeing a group of elite traders that are hording and protecting their high end assets and then a very large group of traders with backpacks worth 50 dollars or less than can't really afford keys, buds, unusuals.

A lot of this has to do with the influence since the Steam Marketplace was introduced as well as backpack price manipulation that has happened since people saw that their own trades put up on Outpost could then be used as proof for the next price raise. The cycle will continue and isn't far from crashing.

since steam market we simple can sell our unusuals for cash so we dont need buds any longer as simple as that,why to sell our unusuals for a misc or 10 miscs and not sell them in steam market for cash!!!!

I was selling buds for 16 keys end up with 6 people biding war end up selling it for 16+2.33 I think 16.5 or below is a quick sell. maybe 17 flat.

my friend spent a day looking for 17.

I spent like an hour to get 16.5.

EDIT: this is for selling, by the way. Most TF2 offers I found when trying to sell were 16 keys.

It's not about manipulating prices, it's about updating them to reflect the market. Not everyone cares about profit so much as honesty and accurately blatantly representing the current state of Earbuds price. It's easy, really.

I agree. I don't believe 16.5 should be included in the range, because since the last drop, anything below 16 and 5 ref is insta-sell.

imo anything under 17 is pretty quick to go. reckon the price should jsut go down to 17 flat. 17 is fair price reflection of the time relevance of the prce aswell eg. how long it takes to sell at 17 is usually 'the normal" amount of time earbuds "should" take.
