SUMMER 2014 IS COMING. Time for a slight price adjustment on these B.M.O.C.'s. I would have put the range at 16 keys flat because I saw no outpost sales for below 16 keys, there are a couple BMOCs in the classified (included a gifted one mind you) that are under 16 keys, so I have limited the range to this.

I have seen many sellers with very decent paint selling for 16 keys and 15 key sellers are still popping up. Your sellers which have rejected 15 keys most are highballers which have had their trade open for weeks rejecting 15 keys there means nothing

Some of your adds for 16 keys are also painted. and have been unsold at 16 keys for a few days...

Thanks for the extra proof to help prove my point.

My point was that there are still plenty of people selling for 15 keys, and there are quite a few unsolds at 16 keys some painted as well, evident in some of your trades.

The fact that people are buying them at such a fast rate shows that even though a few people might be selling at that rate, its a quicksell for pure keys which is why it sells so fast.

They are BMOCs unsold at 16, which is why the range is from 15.5

Furthermore, they are only 2 BMOCs (nongifted, the one for 15 keys is gifted her p derp) that are in the classifieds that are below 16 keys, which the owners don't seem to be responding to buyers.

Lastly, paints on BMOCs are hard to judge to begin with since the more expensive the item gets, the less important paints get, which is why paints don't even matter on unusuals.

Thats why I purposefully used non-painted BMOCs in my proof.

And I watch with a heavy heart as the BMOC replaces the bud as currency... ;-;

I doubt it will ever become a proper currency nearly all experienced traders know that this thing drop like a rock after christmas is over. Not to mention that the hype of this is derived from buds (people think it's going to rise up to the price of buds again like last year)

Also buds dropping is a normal thing it's mainly due to the original Halloween effects could be unboxed from normal crates as long as it was uncrated during a set time period around Halloween so many players dump their buds to "stock up" on keys. Normally buds rise after haloween then drop again around chirstmas and rise again lulz

This. 15 keys may sell fast but should be surely not removed from the range because of the amount of people who are selling for that.

Yeah, i have 3 lol. It is only 0.5 key increase so what. I really do think that 15 keys should not be in the range. And since i have three it means i have been looking around maybe more than you to know.

I literally JUST saw this comment and realized it was my trade. I want to clarify that I, in fact, DID sell 23 BMOC's for 16 keys each. (I sold 25 now)

You can also check my backpack history. A few weeks ago I had about 30 BMOC's, now I have much less.

I'm not against or for BMOC rise here, I just want to be able to explain myself about the Sold:23 part as NOT a lie. I also don't see why solds at 16 matter here because the suggested change in range deals only with the removal of 15 keys from the lower end.

It's possible he's Australian like me or in the Southern Hemisphere and said Summer because Christmas is in Summer for us. However, the way that he says "Summer 2014" like it's an event sort of coincides with that as the Summer event is during Winter for us xP so idk

First one blatantly states he's quickselling, second one is sold, third link looks possibly badly bumped (can't be sure though) and fourth link already has a bookmark with 28 views so someone's obviously interested in buying it ASAP.

second one is sold indeed. the third one has pretty bad bumping, but still, people look on thoose trades that are 1-3 hours. and on the fourth one, just because it has a bookmark it doesnt matter that someone will buy asap, because if so they would probably write a comment aswell :)

I love it when someone decides to sell for the price it is set at, its considered a quicksell. The price is literally 15-16 keys, how in the hell is it a quicksell?! Its not like he is selling for 13 or 14 keys.

Actually, this thing will drop like a rock during christmas.

This happened the previous 2 years aswell (including the price raising mid-august), so i have no doubt this will happen again.

The reason for this is that during December, everything's all christmassy and cheery and to be expected, so the BMOC would drop to around 9 or 10 keys.

However, in the midst of a year it's deemed out of season, and the price raises in August due to being bought a bunch for that sole factor. And then it dies down, and everybody shuts up for until the same time around next year.

Actually last year it rose becasue of a mass price manipulation (http://tf2spreadsheet.blogspot.com.au/2012/04/bmoc-and-ebeneezer-pricing.html)

And this year it rose because it was priced up by half a key, then everyone thought it was going to rise to a bud again (was less than half a bud at the time) which drove thr prices up because everyone wanted one. This was also the reason it dropped like a rock because people realised they were paying way to much and that it was a hard sale around 20 keys (because hoarders entered the market) and started crashing :)
