First sell can be considered a outlier, considering the offers he got (he must have been a collector etc.):

Beams Conno cap: 7.1-8.3

Burning cockswain: 6.5-7.2

Burning coup+peace beak: 4.1-4.5+3.8-3.9

6 pure in that time was say 6*22= 132 keys, at this time 132/17=7.7

Middle one doesn't seem to know much about trading (he unboxed it as well).

The fact that buds are decreasing increases the value of the hat in terms of buds, not money/keys. You can't ignore that

I didn't realize that to price CURRENT hats we use their PAST bud value.

What you fail to realize is that only the bud number changed, the USD and keys value is constant. The value of the HWNN with fetti remains the same in USD, fact that bud USD value doesn't change the hat value.

Why the hell are you not adding up their values, getting 6.6, taking overpay and getting 6, and insist on removing another 10 percent?

Thanks, of course I disagree with it, regardless waiting on TUNA to validate 7 bud offer, and the 6 pure offer seems to still count as 7.7 making the unusual sell outlier.

We know 6 is fair.

7-6= 1

So if someone offers pure on my hat, that doesn't mean it is worth that much? I shouldn't need to actually get rid of my hat to prove it is worth that much... I have seen many hat prices change based on offers or lack of offers alone

Hmm. That 5.2 sale seems low and all hats are fettis which are ofc worth more for collectors and maybe some of their prices here are low as well.

All in all I would call that sale ~6 buds as well, and if the 7 pure offer is true 6-7 buds seems like an ok range. If it sells for 8 it's most probably an outlier for now unless there are other offers >7 buds.
