The reality is that even though buds have gone down in value compared to keys, unusuals are generally selling for the same amount in buds. Buds depreciation seems to be a reflection of the health (or lack there of) of the unusual market. And the current system of pricing in USD which causes the inflated prices makes no sense. That is why we have made the rule to price new suggestions based on the actual suggestion value of the previous suggestion instead of the listed inflated value.

The proof on the planets lucha was originally 1.8-2. It makes no sense to use the inflated price when the actual sales on the market are still at 1.8-2.

But i still dont think that "the new Rule" especially here work.

My trades were conducted in the PAST based on logic of saleability/value. Retroactively applying "New Rules" to old trades should not be allowed. In addition, when buds were 20 keys, SNS was 17 keys. Today the SNS is 1 bud, but it still would cost the same to purchase.

-SNS flies doesn't belong in the "cancer" price range because of some new way of thinking by moderators etc. I think you have it out to gain easy points on backpack.

Let me correct you on my trades:

I sold my luchadore for 2.2-2.7 buds:

-SNS: Flies- 1.1-1.3 buds

-Dread Knot: Orbiting planets- 10-12 keys

-Steel Toe- Steaming- 12-13 keys

I bought a cloud nine whoppee (5.1-5.7Bud) with 5.5-6.1

-SNS:flies- (1-1.3 Bud)

-Backbiters Billycock: Cloud nine-(3.5 buds) we both estimated it to be

-Pugliest protector: Cauldrin Bubbling- 1-1.3 buds

Your price value is incorrect and flies on the sns is a nice look worthy of the current price.

Yes, I'm sure pricing it over 1 bud makes sense when it hasn't sold at 1 for almost a week.

1 week is not a long time for an unusual.

Trade 1 Planet Luchadore (1.8-2 -original price-old price) for~Flies Safe'n'Sound +

Planets Dread Knot(~0.5-0.6)+ Steaming Stately Steel Toe(~0.6-0.5 in pure).

So Flies Safe'n'Sound ~1.8-0.5-0.6~0.7 buds pure~13 keys(bud-18 keys)

I made a mistake here ( Steaming Stately Steel Toe ), but the price is correct ~13 keys.

2 Trade: Cloud 9 Whoopee Cap(~4-4.5- http://backpack.tf/stats/174/5/58 4 in pure) for~SNS:flies + Cloud 9 (no price set )+Cauldrin Puglies (1-1.5 http://backpack.tf/stats/246/5/39 ) -I not use it trade .

You can't compare two different methods and then state a drop in price. The old trades were based off of bp values and NOT the new methodology. Show us new trades under the new methods of valuing in order to prove your suggesstion and not old trades that were conducted under different pricing methods.

Now We use only one method -original suggestion price .

The reality is that most hats are retaining the same value in buds as opposed to USD (in which they are currently stored). You can check all the recent accepted suggestions to verify this. As such original suggested values in buds are almost always more accurate than the current listed price in buds due to currency changes. That is why we established the rule to price all hats in new suggestions based on the price in the actual suggestion for them.
