Lots of people on outpost are selling for a price that is, lets be honest, quite a highball. I am currently the lowest price on outpost at a price of 7 buds. http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/15298886
This guy is selling for 8: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/14079110
This guy is selling for an optimistic 10: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/15270194
Another 10: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11329892
I think the 10s are way too high. I have not asked these people what they paid for it although i tried to ask one of them but he never accepted my friend request.
The reason im making this suggestion is that i would just like to get a solid price on my hat so that i can sell it for that and not be lowballed like hell, and also to bring the highballers down a notch.
You need two SALES of a new effect/hat to set a price, not buyouts.
Ok, ill do some searching and see if i can see what they traded. One guy got some really good offers e.g. a peace sign stash but he sold it.
Ok, i got 1 trade i found: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/14237672
Owner is now "Frankie" he bought it from Morgan Frightening Mann for a Knifestorm Fumigasa + 3 buds. That is around the 7 bud mark if im not wrong.
I can't seem to find out what the others paid for their hats. I have looked through the historys of their items and i can't seem to find a match anywhere.
So where's the six coming from? As Eldric said, new effects require two sales to price. The Knife Fuka looks like they added 2.5 + sweets. Our price for the knife fuka is outdated, however, and given the offers on outpost it is way less than 4.3.
Please take a closer look at the site rules before making your next suggestion; http://backpack.tf/vote?showrules=1 Please find additional sales--or wait until you sell yours--and resuggest when you have a a more concrete idea of the price
