Had a big long post, and Backpack.tf crashed when I tried to save it, so you get the Cliff's Notes.

Caveat: I own one of this item. Whether that makes me biased or knowledgeable, I'm just putting it out there.

Mostly I am correcting misinformation in the original suggestion. Someone really needs to back-check the proofs, or proofs are pointless.

Large variance in Bp from one time to the next, it is possible it was sold for the Jefe, and not the Cold Killer (Note that the other robo-effect was sold at the same time). Anyway, speculation is pointless, and definitely outlier.

Sold through an auction on Bazaar.tf, essentially a quicksell. Sulph Owner made it quite clear that he valued the PE at 3.2 buds. I am attempting to recover the auction link, will post it in comments when I get it.

The lower price range~2.2 buds(link 2) ,upper price range~2.8 buds(link 5 and~link 4).

With outliers eliminated and mistakes corrected, price suggested is now 2.8-3.2.

Ranges have been heavily researched, and are as accurate as I can make them.

3.2 buds is the ABSOLUTE HIGHEST this Unusual will ever see, at least until they fix price bugs on the site.

2.8 buds is the ABSOLUTE LOWEST you will see outside of quicksells.

Quicksells cannot be considered valid proof unless multiple quicksells have occurred. I am tired of arguing this point back and forth.

PLEASE VOTE based on your own review of the prices and suggestions.

You have proof for 1.6, 2.2, 2.7 and 2.8. Where the fuck is this range coming from?

I don't recall stuttering... The setup above was based off a previous pricing, and the bold text is where I show what has actually occurred. Two proofs were misfires (trade did not happen as shown), one was clearly an outlier who was either confused or scammed, and two solid proofs (one my own purchase) of 3.1-3.2. What's the problem, here?

It does not matter what the guy valued it at. It's either lowest price (3.8) or medium price x0.9 (2.7). Your high end is therefore invalid

He also received an offer of an Aces High Gonzilla (3-4.3, only price). High end is actually low. The man himself commented below, take it up with him.

That... doesn't matter it all. The only way that would be valid proof is if you made a suggestion for the Aces Gonzilla, then it passed. THEN and only THEN could you use that as valid proof.

I could make a suggestion for the Gonzilla, which I might actually, but I do not own one, nor do I have proof of two or more trades (another random rule that makes pricing even harder than it already is). If I bought an Aces High Gonzilla, I would be guaranteed of an immediate 3 bud sale. That is enough, sir.

In my opinion this isn't the range of the hat since I would often get offers of 3 buds. But that's just my 2 cents.

^Precisely. The new pricing rule, while good in intent, is screwing up new price suggestions by discrediting sellers. I did forget to mention the Aces Gonzilla, I will add it.

There's a new ranging rule the admins put up. Keeps me from doing actual prices. They say the site's pricing is screwey because of the drop in Buds prices, so they don't let you use full unusual prices in suggestions.

yeah that would mean the purple energy hotrod is 2.8 buds after overpay, so it still doesn't show that 3.2 should be in your range

I cannot edit my original suggestion. That's the point of the comments section, to work out glitches. High end was gotten from Andrew's Bazaar Auction, in which multiple unusuals of 3.2 and higher were offered. Read and observe andrew's comment/links.

The point is, he turned down 3 buds and higher, so he would not have sold for anything less. Are you suggesting he was scammed, then?

the other unusuals may have had outdated prices but in the end he chose to take the p. energy hotrod so that's the only thing that should count

If we count all the data, the price suggestion should then be 1.6-3.8 buds. That's silly. With the range as-is, the value will be exactly three buds mid-range (the only range that matters). It has been proven several times that the Sulfurous Mining Lamp can sell for 3 buds pure easily. That's why the range is what it is. If you have proofs/sales showing it selling for less, place them here.

i don't see any sales at 3.8 yet alone 3.2. you need to get an accurate low-end and high-end, you're low end is shown in your sales but i don't see any sales at your high end meaning that is wrong. it doesn't matter if 3 buds is easy, you'll need to prove why 3.2 is in your range with a sale but seeing that you don't have one and just basing it off on offers would mean it's in-accurate therefore i think you should consider re-suggesting. i wasn't complaining about your low-end by the way, just your high end.

4. The seller himself came here and spoke in an earlier comment. He had received several offers of 3 pure, and I verified that with links and proof.

I know about the new rule, and even used it. The only place I did not apply it was in the one instance where it was very clear that the owner had recieved pure offers far above the so-called "base value" Backpack.tf suggested.

Everything so far has been checked and double-checked. You made an honest mistake, and I'm fixing it up. That is all.

For last month hat sold/bought in price range 1.6( I agree- outlier)-2.2 to 2.9-3+( I not say that is 3.2 -need to update PE Hotrod , i say 3 +?). Possible price go up , but 2 trades I think not enough to talk that price 2.8-3.2 .

You have my apologies. :/ I expected this to be a simple price update, and it's gotten quite ridiculous.

At this point I feel I shouldn't have commented, but this hat has been up in the air for pricing for the longest time.

Either way I am glad someone actually stepped forward and did the research after 2-3 months of questionable pricing.

FWIW, I just sold this.

I sold mine + a searing jeepcap (2.3) for a Terror-Watt Armored Authority (5.1). Which would put it at 2.8. So it's extremely close.
