Suggestion: Mann Co. Supply Crate Key at 6.11–6.22 ref

So out of your 100 links provided, there's a whopping grand total of 1 valid link. Everything else just proves that <6 ref is a dead cheap instasell, and other links are just people buying items/reposts/repeat links.

Also, as I posted on my proof, 9 people were buying keys for 6.11 on JUST THE FIRST PAGE of Outpost, why'd you sell a key for less when you can easily sell it for more?

People, please stop being ignorant and biased by supporting this "counterproof" that doesn't prove anything actually. Probably if you read the facts you'd get it, but this comment will be buried anyway.

I agree that most of them were instasold, still it shows that many people willing to sell for 6 ref (over 100 in the last day, some even sold multiple in each trade). If the market is flooded every day with tons of 6 ref sellers, though they sell fast, 6 ref should be included in range. A lot of the keys are being sold to very few key resellers, such as naknak (appeared a lot of times in my links, trying to buy the keys), who are trying to buy as quickly as possible the 6 ref sellers, so others will buy from them at a higher price, basically try to control the market. And same as the people quickbuying for 6 ref, the quickselling to the few buyers at 6.11 isn't a valid proof either. If Mattie will convert his bp to metal, and will start buying keys at 7 ref, should the price be 7 ref ? of course not. Because he will run out of stock, and then what? Same as your buyers. They are just few people with a lot of metal of getting adds every day, but once they run out of stock, it's over. Also from your buyers :

These resellers buy keys then sell, it's a vicious cycle and they hardly ever run out of metal stock.

Also, those buyers were obtained yesterday, so it might have changed since then.

BTW, scrap.tf, although not valid proof by itself, buys keys at 6.11 and sells at 6.22, and its stock of keys isn't really that high most of the time, meaning that several people are willing to pay 6.22.

Exactly, since May. Keys don't fluctuate, they only steadily increase in price as they always have.

Earbuds went up, down, up, down, peaking at like 30 and look at them now. I think that's a fair example of fluctuation.

6 ref -Sells extremely quickly, several buyers above it. Shouldn't be in range.

6.11 ref - Sells quickly, many buyers are on this point. Not impossible to buy, but snatched quickly basically everywhere on the web and people are more likely to get one more easily at this price in a trade server.

6.22 ref - Easy to sell, goes rather decently fast. Incluiding in the range

6.33+ ref - Possible, but sits around a lot. Outlier for now.

Since keys average out at 6.11 on pretty much any other site, I'm suggesting 6-6.22 which also averages at 6.11.

Screwed in what way? It's better than anytime. An economy with fluctuating currencies that do not keep the same value for long is much more fully-fledged, dynamic and stable than one that doesn't.

In fact when it's your second suggestion, that's normally for a hat, a strange or what you want, but certainly not for a currency.

My comments are not stupid, I'd say yours are. They have negative scores because I'm supporting they keys' rise, and it's a proven fact that 99% of the users are biased. If I were counterproving this suggestion, I assure you it'd be the opposite.

Also, I'd say that people who support them are the ignorants, not me.

Terminus, I know this is not the right place, but last time this was discussed on the forums as it was taken down as it was thought of as a "shaming post".

I just wanted to tell you that every suggestion you go to and comment, all you basically do is give a vague opinion that is most of the time incorrect. You always fail to recognise outliers, quicksells and such things. Then, you just post either "UPVOTE" or "DOWNVOTE", which most of the time is a wrong veredict. When someone tries to disprove you, you just retaliate aggresively imposing your, again, wrong opinion. It is that bad mindset of "I'm always right, you're always wrong" that sits in your head.

In fact, your all-time voting accuracy is below 50%, which proves my assumption further.

In regards to my voting - Just to let you know - the majority of those were last month (when I essentially started voting) - I''ll admit - I didn't even post or go through much details but the initial posts on those votes; I have since presented more proof in my arguments.

I give my opinion the same way you do man. I don't impose my opinion - just present facts - in some cases I use evidence that others have presented; in some rare cases - such as this - it's more of what I have seen rather than facts.

I do reply to comments - perhaps that is seen as being ''aggressive'' on Backpack - I just explain my view point

There is a crap load of proof man, but to be honest 6.11 is working well for me, i can buy and sell quite quickly at that price :P Also i don't see many in game buyers/sellers at 6.22. Logic does not work here. And metal is not recovering any value, last suggestion just countered the wrong suggestion done beforehand. Keys are not going down either, as more people are still willing to pay more.

Anyways, I've been buying keys for 6 refined each, success many times, and pretty common lets say WAY faster than selling a cuban bristle crisis (lowering the price)

Conclusion:

I bought 6 keys in the same day for 6 refined, if 6.11/.22 would be easy to sell, then they should sell em for 6.11/22 and get 1 or 2 scrap more?

From what I see from this and pretty much every key suggestion:

If the comment disagrees with the higher suggested price, it gets likes.

If the comment agrees with the higher suggested price, it gets likes.

If the comment disagrees with the higher suggested price but it makes a stupid statement, it gets dislikes.

If the comment agrees with the higher suggested price but provides proof as to why it should be at that price, it gets likes.

And then you have the many exceptions.

Anyways, from what I see from the quantity of proof and a skim of the comments, 6.22 does not belong in the range (yet). So, downvote.

If comment agrees with higher suggested prices, it gets dislikes even if it provides valid proof.

If comment disagrees with lower suggested prices, it gets likes, even if it includes a stupid statement or invalid proof.

And vice versa.

Why are we trying to raise the price again? I didn't even take me 10 minutes to find someone selling for 6 ref (several actually), which you guys seem to always dismiss as uncredible "quicksell" price since it's outside your range. All of these were within 10 minutes of eachother.

How about no? As it has been pointed out, there's lots of buyers willing to pay more than 6, meaning that it shouldn't be in the range. 6 ref sells within 2-5 minutes everytime, it's not impossible to find someone selling at 6, but it is hard to buy it before anyone else.

Same can be said about 6.11, 6.22, and 6.33, but nobody is calling any of those prices "quicksells" or "lowballers".

You must check to see if the key ACTUALLY sold. Some sellers just CLOSE the trade.

Actually, only 1 could be considered failed (i.e. the 6-6.22 one). I was just trying to doodle around with the coding and some junk brad left over.

The only reason keybots are buying and selling at these prices is that that was the price only a couple weeks ago, and they haven't changed it yet because the price of keys hasn't gone down in years, downvoted

Also, just because people will buy for a scrap higher, doesn't mean that the price should raise. There are always people willing to buy for a scrap or more higher on keys, regardless of the current price.

Keys should be going up because people everywhwere are selling them for 6.22 and buying for 6

Nowadays, when it comes to a key suggestion that involves raising the price I simply downvote it no matter what. That is how annoyed I am.
