Reopened because I put it in keys the first time xD
Very outdated price. The milkman has dropped a lot over time.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/14299324 5 buds, unsold for a month
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/15467993 5 buds
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/15445364 Was considering a hearts kabuto (4.9-5.6ish) Even if the other guy added sweets, it would still be under the current price.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/15340591 Sold for a roboactive bot dogger (4.5) + a bud + sweets. From what I can tell the guy added a sf ubersaw. Making that about 5.8.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/15337504 Sold for a nuts impaler (2.5ish) + o fire nano (.8-.9) + an o fire milk (2-2.1) Making that about 5.3-5.6
This is too high. Last suggestion for this was 4.3-4.5. You are actually raising the price.
You think so? The last suggestion may have been low but it didn't pass
No, I mean the last suggestion that passed: http://backpack.tf/vote/id/51a45cb34bd7b8fb6b00000a
It was 4.3-4.5. Currency changes have elevated this artificially. Unsold at a month for 5 means that the price really shouldn't be more than that.
Hearts buto is 4.3 after overpay
RA hotdogger is 2.7 after overpay, putting that sale at ~4.2ish
Impaler + Nano + Milkman is ~4.3 after overpay.
Your proof is good, but your range is off. Based on those sales and offers, this should be ~4.2-4.3 which is right around where the last suggestion was. Those values also make a lot more sense in the context of the unmet b/o's at 5.
If you are confused about how I'm coming up with these values, have a look here: http://forums.backpack.tf/index.php?/topic/4350-new-rule-use-original-suggested-values-of-unusuals/
To find the previous suggested value for, say, the RA hot dogger, go to this page: http://backpack.tf/stats/614/5/72
When you look at the graph, scroll to the right-most blue dot, which is the most recent price set for it. You will see that at 3 buds flat. Now look at the suggestion itself that passed: http://backpack.tf/vote/id/51c3d614ba25365e2000001d - clearly sold for 3 buds
Why has it gone from 3-->4.5. That's due to the currency change problems that are explained in the forum link I provided. It doesn't make sense to use the inflated ranges. And that becomes obvious in this case when there are b/o's at 5 unsold for months and sales at 4-4.5 based on old prices and 5-5.5 based on new prices (which don't make sense).
And by the way, I bought mine for PE hermes (PE hermes + black bills for GE milkman) and sold mine in a complex multihat trade
Unfortunately, the hermes has a 1 year old price, so neither of those trades will be helpful
Oh okay I see what you're saying. I wasn't aware of the original price policy but that does make sense now.
I also made a new post here - http://forums.backpack.tf/index.php?/topic/4350-new-rule-use-original-suggested-values-of-unusuals/page-3 - giving more examples since a lot of people were complaining about that rule. I'll keep adding to the list there and provide more examples of why it is important to implement this original values rule
sorry but the other suggestion is better
It's only better because he stole my proof, idea, and has previous experience. Sorry for someone to try to help out and not try to gain all the rep I can.
