No you're wrong ,if hat sold ~3 months ago for 3 buds -now it 3 buds but no 3.5 or higher. Now no hats on the market and last sells ~1-3 months ago , so price 3-3.2

i strongly disagree.. why should unusuals lose value together with buds?

The problem you use the current price of hats for offers, maybe the hats offered where worth more/less 3 months ago, if there is no1 on the market it can also mean people dont wanna sell it so low so they wait untill the haloween madness has stopped

this might have been true before it was possible to sell unusuals on the steam marketplace. it is too early to say how the dropping bud price will influence future unusual trading, many people have already started to price their unusuals in keys.

just give it some time to settle instead of downvoting all hats

also if an item isn't even on the market, how can you tell you will be able to buy it for the suggested price? maybe now they are all in the hands of collectors who won't sell them for less than 5? i dunno if it was you, but somebody downvoted a gbh sns with the same type of "proof" counting a burning WW as ~3.5 (because that was the original suggestion) even though the WW had current offers of 4+ and the gbh topper also before it switched sides, but still it was voted to 3.2-3.5
