someone had to take the plunge and suggest a value for this thing (please be constructive with your inevitable criticism, it's my first suggestion D: )
a little explanation: huge price disparities ranging from 1ref (quicksell though) to a key. I think I've found plenty selling for much less than a key to safely say the sellers selling for a key can be ignored
quicksells:

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/15528412 (1.22 ref)

(1.33ref each, 5 in stock as of 11/5/2013 11:47pm)

(tf2wh screenshot as mentioned in the quicksell section)
The backpack.tf screenshot has:
1 for 1.66ref
1 for 1.77ref
1 for 2ref
1for 2.22 ref
2 for 2.66 (one actually says 2.67 but let's not be too picky about that hundredth of a ref)
(sorry bout deleting my last suggestion, backpack.tf was not cooperating and my high value was removed
this person was selling a visage for 1.66, trade is closed (http://www.trade.tf/trade/508223499), and also there was another one from 21 hours ago by [PPC] Sand Cohens on backpack.tf classifieds selling for 2ref (also closed). also this one was selling for 1.66 (closed) too: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/15498627
selling =/= sold, posting some sold trades could help in suggestion, and your proofs, solds are mostly at 1.66, some at 2 ref, non higher, the others are unsolds, so posting another suggestion of 1.66-2ref with solds as proofs would be good :)
Selling does not equal sold, none of those 3 refs have sold so you cannot use that range, and even your one 1.66 hasnt sold, the ONLY sold you have listed is the one ref which has interested buyers ASIDE from the one you bought. Gonna have to downvote.
any tips for finding solds when searching through outpost or some similar tf2 market place?
Trade.tf has listings of closed sales if you search for Haunted quality of it, or checking histories of Other Ravens if they have had more than one owner to see if they were sold in the past.
how would you recommend looking up an item's history?
http://www.trade.tf/listings/search/Sell/Haunted/Raven%27s%20Visage/None/1
Look for closed trades here
how would you recommend I find out exactly what someone sold something for? (not just what they said they were selling it for since they could've been convinced down (or up?))
for example: this person was selling a visage for 1.66, trade is closed (http://www.trade.tf/trade/508223499), and also there was another one from 21 hours ago by [PPC] Sand Cohens on backpack.tf classifieds selling for 2ref (also closed). also this one too: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/15498627
Sometimes you assume they sold for that price. You cant always confirm a sale, I guess.
seems highly flawed but alright, i'll add those examples there to my proof
