If this is a 2013 spell, it should be down to at least a rec, maybe less, since valve fixed the whole glitched expirations dates.

Its not going to go down to a rec, and hardly will get ANYWHERE close during the entire event, Im still getting sales on the community market for over a dollar daily.

And you could immediately turn that dime into 80 cents on the market...id buy spectrals in a heartbeat for 1 rec each, my steam wallets gotten buff after selling paints for a week.

I own 1 mechamedes with a 2012 spell and a bill's with a 2013 spell, now both say they will expire in 11/11/13, Valve gave us the Big D to all of us who own "glitched" halloween items

you're suppose to use the spell after halloween like what everyone else did the year before, they can change the spells date but they didn't fix the usage of spells after halloween thing

Well as far as we know they didnt fix it, which I hope they didnt. Those who've had their glitched items would be in high disappointment, and I think it's nice that its more just a re-applying thing, giving value back to paints after halloween is over and not screwing over some poor traders who had spares before halloween started.

my guess is valve probs patch it correctly this time, also people are farming this thing like crazy doubt people would pay that much for paint that will only last a year xD

why is everyone so sure that the 2013 spells wont act the same as the 2012's did?

Recent patch updated all spells to expire this year.

Also unlike before alot of players are farming the heck out of this item especially the auto farming servers which have been up since last week.

Furthur more looks like value is gonna patch it up correctly this time, if not no one is going to pay that much for paint that is going to last only a year.

Spectral is cool, but lets face it.

'For free' is a relative term, some people dont want to try to farm for a spell that has a smaller chance to be obtained from drops than others...(I find exorcism way more than any other spell) via being lazy/dont have the time. Sure oyu can find it for free, at the cost of time spent trying to get one. All about supply and demand, and there's still some fair demand on it.

Spending 50 mins avg to get a present is not for free. And you don't have a 100% chance for an usefull spell.

True, I have found about 40 gifts in that map, there's a cool down of 40 minutes between gifts, most of the stuff I found is either Exorcism or voodoo crap and I have found ZERO spectral spectrums, the only one I own is because I bought it for a rec, what a waste of fucking time playing for gifts..

Atleast none of you guys have 49 items painted... Fuck this game I quit...
