I looked into that, it mostly looks like he strangified them himself. And he only has two of them. Either that, but the previous owners on the history of damnheathen's haven't had an S. robro sale ever, or within a month, which is when I stopped looking.

It wasn't 1 or 2 buyers constituting the entire proof. There was proof of offers made by other buyers, even on the uncraftable archimedes. Here it is literally 1 guy outbidding offline.

I got more and more interested in strange miscs lately (I myself own a collection missing the robro, merc's pride and the latest 8 added yesterday) and, to me, the high-end of this range is pretty exaggerated...

I'm not saying it shouldn't go up, but 14 keys is quite high in my opinion and anyone willing to pay that much is quite dumb (but maybe I'm the only one that feels this way).

This is why:

Unique version is 2–2.2 keys, while Strange is 10–12 keys and the Uncraftable version is 1.5–1.6 keys, so the actual 6.5-7 keys price for the Uncraftable Strange is, compared to the Craftable, wrong. Therefore, the mathematically correct price for this item is somewhere around 9.5-11.5 keys.

My reasoning is purely mathematical and the price named is not based on any sales or buyers, but the suggestion for the Craftable Strange one had solid proof.

Based on this reasoning, I also believe that the price for other Uncraftable stranges (for example Archimedes, which I think was mentioned before) is wrong.

Again, this entire argument of mine is purely mathematical so treat it as such. It also doesn't match the rules for pricing an item but it might help with this particular item's price at this moment.

In my experience with chem sets/strangifiers/strange miscs, the uncraftable stranges rarely go for any less than their craftable counterparts, and occasionally go for more (possibly due to their comparative rarity? that's my speculation). Comparing the strange variant prices to the unique item prices doesn't match up with the actual market for these items. Again, this is just my opinion based on my experience. .

That said, the evidence for this change is pretty thin, even considering the tiny market for uncraft s. robro's. I will withhold my vote for now.

Just because 1-2 guys are selling at a massive higher price does not mean it is time to rise the price up.
