But if you've been looking at the proof, you'd notice that 2-3ref doesn't represent market prices though...And you know, saying it's a fair price without any proof just seems like an opinion :P

Yup, halloween is over...and now the hype of glitching paints begins.

No idea if it still works, I cant really log on and see myself to test it as I have like...over 50 paints on me, have to check this afternoon with a friend to confirm or not. But still a hype nontheless.

Wesley told me it works, and my hats that got painted before Halloween haven't got wiped yet, don't know if items painted this Halloween has

Really? The hats from last year? But people kept saying they had new expiration dates on em, that's weird...

They have, but they are not wiped. Restarted the game twice. If I am unlucky they may be in some weeks though

Oh well, things may be patched over the course of the day or next two..time will tell how this plays out and what valve does or doesn't do. Guess I'll end up seeing whenever I get back from work tonight.

I still have the paint on my hat, but I guess that it will be wiped with the next patch.

Well they have said they wouldn't wipe the hats so I hope they won't....Let's just wait and see.....Upvoted the suggestion btw but I think it can even be 4-6.11 ref

I have opened a chat forum about a hour ago. The glitch painted hats from last year are not wiped yet, but I can't see the hat equiped in-game. (3d model at our HP shows you have the hat on, but you can not see it on when you taunt...)

I do believe the glitch still works...strange but I think it does. My Unusual's still have the paint on them...

Read it, the crates say 12th. The spells and voo-doo crap say 11th, my voo-doo crap has already gone. It's got to be hard to force wipe paint off of items...I mean...it is even allowed for a company to do that?

well technically it was retained from a glitch, not sure how patching up a glitch is unfair...Also many traders knew that there was the possibility of patching it up when buying the paint

Well hey, let's see what Valve does. I hope/think they won't fix it, as people bought these for...well...crazy prices, so it's somewhat unfair. But if they add them every halloween, hopefully it may balance out.

Meh, doubt it will reach a very high price this year if the glitch remained. People farmed these like crazy...and it only lasts 1 year.

Valve never has cared really about what people pay, if they did they wouldn't of re-released the g.robo sandwich (was like 4 buds!) making it drop like 2 buds.

While these will probably be going up, I think its a bit too early to change the price since Halloween just ended. I'd give it 2 or 3 more days to let things stable out a bit.

So you'd rather leave a highly inaccurate price when people are openly buying it for 1.33 refined more because you think that'd be better? There are a lot of new traders who found these spells during this Halloween update, to not inform them of the value of their items in a timely manner goes against the point of backpack.tf.

It doesn't work like that. A lot of expired items are still fairly worthless. Scorched crates are barely a reclaimed, and they've been expired for over a year. The only reason this is raising is because Spectral Spectrum is still functional after its expiration date assuming Valve didn't patch it.

Well informing them of an incorrect is even worse. The issue here is that there are way too many being sold outside of your price range. At the time of posting, there are 9 unsold spectrums in the classfields under your range (and in fact, only 5 are in the range, and the last one is just silly at 10 keys). Wait for those to be sold and let the hype die down a little.

All sellers are offline, and classifieds do not update regularly. Some do not even have the spectral spectrum in their backpack anymore. Feel free to find some selling for 2.33 refined that are actually on online and in-stock.

actually valve patched these glitch since the begin of the halloween i had a chromatic corruption b.m.o.c painted that before 2013 halloween and it was written that paint ends in 9/11/2012 then came the update and my hat got glitched to 11/11/2013 and 80% valve will stop this paints glitch

Its unknown whether its been successfully patched. If it is 100% confirmed that it has been patched, and is no longer usable then buyers and sellers will drop like flies and it'll be a reclaimed in a week.

The items I painted last week haven't expired yet. I think you might have tried doing it too early.
