I would personally like to see if the spell still works after tomorrow, but people are offering more atm and that's what counts. If it gets patched it will drop and we can deal with it then.

I Totaly agree as I bought spells when they were 4-5 keys, and overpaid in items the hell lot. But yeah, hope they don't change it.

Valve said they would disappear at Nov. 11 14;00 GMT. That has already passed, around 5 hours ago.

They do. I applied mine to my Mutton chops. The color is still there, but the effect is gone.

To retain the glitch you need to apply after halloween.

Thanks for the confirmation as I'm on iPad and the last time. Checked my hats effect is greatly performing theyr'e view. There for the confirmation tho.

We'll have to check in the next 4 weeks if there's any updates about fixing the bug. If not, I guess it's save to say that these things'll rise in price once again, still being glitched and all.

Not really, I only played helltower between queue lines of getting into my usual lakeside farm server. Still managed to get 62 wins in on that achievement in the meantime though.

Looks like they patched the halloween spell glitch just now. And by patched, they shouldnt be visible anymore. Someone please confirm.

Wait you can still apply the paint, but it will only be visible during full moon. It's a win/win sorta. Investors aren't completely screwed.

Value is not going to be anywhere near where it was last year, and I'm talking about the last minutes investors paying keys per spectral spectrum.

The fact that the spells are no longer tradeable means that you need gift wrap to trade them, which would further up the price, in my opinion.

I would try to do the exploit where you start the game, trade someone for the spell, then try to wrap it, but I simply don't have enough spare change to afford wrap. :(

Spells became untradeable, so this will dificult the trading since you gotta wrap them up but if you open the account they will disapear

Well no one has tested if you wrap and trade it to someone already in-game if they vanish or not...Cant be sure until then. Or even if they CAN be wrapped.

Edit: Or as Baloo points out a few comments above, if you can even wrap them since they vanish the moment you log in to try wrapping em..

Yeah but the problem is how we can even test if we cant open the account that has the spells to check if they can be wrapped or whatever... we have to wait till next halloween lol.. what a waste..

Seems like the spells already applied will be there but only working on halloween/full moons, thats not a big deal since too many servers allow you to use halloween shit in it anytime, but well theyre untradeable so theres not point to even state a price unless valve removes the expiration in them hopping we can wrap...

Which is my point, still, having restrictions is never fun.

Id rather have the expiration removed so I can at least USE my own spells...maybe a few extra days extension on the date.

It's funny, because I saw it coming and warned all farmers for paint. Exploits eventually get patched.
