Being conservative because it seems 17 keys doesn't really have much proof to cover yet (although it is the most common point above 16, there's sellers at 16.5 + 16 is still quite common)

upvote, few days ago wanted to buy buds for 15.5- and i had 0 adds for few days. them just bought for 16each... and even for 16 it was pretty hard to found because a lot of sellers already want 17-18keys

For your solds at 16 keys

you are very right about how they are mostly instant sells, I looked over 10 at random and they all had sold without a need of a bump, If I'm honest, I would say that we could define it as a quicksale but the lack of people willing to sell at higher will mean that we keep it in the range and that is totally fine, taking it at a slower pace will be better for many reasons, I won't go into detail on those reasons as I am strapped for time at the moment but I can agree on this modest rise.

onto the proof of solds above 16 keys

I'm very happy with the proof you provided and If I am honest you probably could make another suggestion making the higher range 17 keys, keep that off this one for now as the quick change won't work to well and heck, you can rep whore a little more (I know you like that) Some of the 17 keys solds are like the 16 keys solds, they sell very quick with little need of a bump, maybe they just got lucky but hell, it seems plenty of people got lucky so I won't complain.

I am happy with the proof in this suggestion and by reading this, I hope other users will be happy to.

Same goes for 6.11 keys a while ago. I did say these were the most commonly traded prices, but it IS possible to sell for more, now that people are not qs them anymore.

I'm not here to bash the range. I'm here to implore you to do a better job of showing why 16.5 should be included in the range. You need to show 16.5 is a common trading point to include it in the range.

I don't know, maybe they are just the guys who want quick keys and metal as soon as possible but there is too few of them to hold back the suggestion much. The links you provided have next to no use when they sell that fast unless your trying to increase the range of a item's price. not prevent it from happening

16 is a flat price, not a range, and people will be normally selling for outside the flat prices, if anything a range gives a item more flexibility while the current price feels more restricted.

If you got a bud try selling it for higher than the current price and then make a judgment, Wolfi did it with my suggestion on refined metal and that worked out very well.

I'm an advocate of good proof to drive currency suggestions. Think about it. There are loads of buds and key trades every day. People can cherry pick their proof and still generate enough links to make a formidable suggestion. He has a ton of trades at 16 which seems to be the most common price. I would like him to do a better job of showing that 16.5 warrants being in the range.

The halloween event. Whenever a big event comes up that involves keys, people want the keys so they can unbox the crates that come from the event. Halloween is always a big deal, regardless of the new crate, because all crates can yield Unusuals with special effects. Thus, people went crazy and starting selling buds for ridiculously low values because they wanted keys so much to unbox with.

It's pretty difficult to find sales for 16 keys, and those that do sell for 16 sell instantly.

Edit: Those buds were being sold as buds with a special level. I didn't really care about what level they were, but the seller claimed that it bumped the price by a key.
