All proof is from Vince, he requested me to do it for him as he's away.
"why in the world did the ref suggestion pass? he had very invalid proof and just by looking on TF2OP for 2 minutes i could find a handfull of sellers for .3$"
Links in bold are still selling and have a decent amount of stock.

http://forums.sourceop.com/threads/152215-Refined-30-each - .3
Has 40 ref in stock
Conclusion:
$0.30 for ref is possible to get, and should be in range. It's still possible to sell for more, though.
"sold out in a week"
"sold 3 rather quickly"
"sold out within 2 days, had 10 ref"
It's possible to sell at, but they sell pretty quickly, and if trades didn't frequently restocking them, they'd be none for .30
Yes, but if they are restocking, then that only means they're buying them for less, right?
Also, I'm pretty sure 100 ref in a week is not quick at all.
I hate to be that guy, but does the 1 cent difference really matter? (Oh and for those people who dislike because they don't like the opinion, you people are trash)
Made my backpack from 650 bucks go up to 700, yes it does matter.
Surprisingly, it actually does. Especially for high priced unusuals.
Yes, we're talking about a massively traded item here.
Just look at the graph: http://backpack.tf/stats/5002/6/0
Most of the changes are rather small (half a cent average)
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/15723795 - .3
Sold out within 2 days, had 10 ref. --> 10 ref is like nothing, that's only 3$. A paypal trade for such an ammount is usually just a waste of time.
http://forums.sourceop.com/threads/150615-Refined-for-30-via-PayPal - .3
Started out with 100 ref (in september), reestocks frequently, today has 30 ref and is still selling. --> bumped his trade after I accepted the last ref suggestion + 100 available? --> http://backpack.tf/id/76561198024633571 he never edited his trade notes probably, he sold his 30 ref in minutes for that price --> quicksell, guess why.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/15705124 - .3
(sold 3, rather quickly) --> not even 1$, c'mon
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13560330 - .3
Open since August, 1 ref in stock (;~;) --> selling keys for 6 ref, oh he is outstock
http://forums.sourceop.com/threads/152714-99-keys-1-89-20-ref-0-30-black-bills-hat-13-20-bmoc-25-00 - .3
Had 20 ref, sold out within a week. --> wasn't even bumped once, so probably sold out within 2 hours? if you want to sell something on sourceop that is not an obvious quicksell price, you need to bump your threads.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/15728033 - .3
Currently has 40, 2 days since opened. --> webmoney, I'm pretty sure webmoney has some nice extra fees (like 10% or so) more than paypal. someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
http://forums.sourceop.com/threads/152975-Keys-1-90-Each-Refined-30-Each-Fees-On-You - .3
Over 40 ref in stock, frequently reestocked and bumped. --> sold out now, they went pretty quick most probably
http://forums.sourceop.com/threads/128671-Keys-1-93-USD-Refineds-0-30-USD - .3
Open since last year, currently out of stock --> sold 120 ref in 1 year? that's 1 ref every 3 days. :) with changing prices. without any more information, no helpful proof.
http://forums.sourceop.com/threads/152690-Refined-0-30-USD - .3
Paypal verified, rep thread only. Has 5 ref after a week, having started out with 250 --> valid proof but out of stock
http://forums.sourceop.com/threads/151901-Refined-Metal-0-30 - .3
Open for a month, reestocks frequently, has 100 ref for sale. --> bupmed his trade after I accepted the metal suggestion, was sold out at the point of the other suggestion, stock is now >200 --> valid proof
http://forums.sourceop.com/threads/152551-Refined-at-0-30-usd - .3
Open for 2 weeks, started out with 600 ref, currently has 498 ref. --> unbumped for some days
http://forums.sourceop.com/threads/152215-Refined-30-each - .3
Has 40 ref in stock --> not bumped in 2 weeks, no one will find his thread
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
good proof from your links:
http://forums.sourceop.com/threads/151901-Refined-Metal-0-30 - .3
one bulk seller. :)
PS: I corrected vince on most of these trades already, doesn't seem like he took it too seriously.
Don't shoot down the messenger ;~;
mkay, closing this, I hope Vince won't get mad at me.
f stop it with the smileysYou have to wait 1 week between currency suggestions
Not if it's a counter suggestion disagreeing with the previous one, and refined doesn't actually have a cooldown.
That's really weird, but thanks for the clarification
Why was this comment downvoted?
Because he posted this suggestion or am I missing something?
it's more than likely that any comment made by the OP on a suggestion like this or http://backpack.tf/vote/id/528945ca4dd7b870528b4569 will be downvoted, even if pointlessly.
However, the opposite goes for stuff like http://backpack.tf/vote/id/52893ce74dd7b8e93b8b456b
Ah so people will praise you when you do something that inflates their bp value but turn against you seconds later when you don't? even when it is called to drop a value?
Sigh.
Haters gonna hate.
again really..
Wait a minute
Pyroman w/31 ref in his bp
H-h-h-how???
because he is a boss
upvoted
its only logical metal goes down, its useless shit that people try to use to get good stuff lol :P
The levels of stupidity in this comment....
I actually have to agree with that.
Well i can see in the past suggestions the price of ref goes no where in the end staying almost the exact same price. as shown.

But whatever upvote
Upboat.
Bought some at 28 cents actually with no problem.
