You're making it sound like it's a bad thing not to impress me :( But I'm implying that sales that are older than 1 day aren't really looked upon. (For that keys are such a commonly traded item)

Try telling that to the market.

Key prices can keep going higher and higher until the point in which it is more practical to buy a key from the Mann Co. Store than to buy a key with refined metal. (That point would currently be at ~8 refined)

I honestly believe 6.22 flat is a much better price for keys right now and here is why:

Sales will always happen outside the range of backpack.tf's price in both directions no matter what. With this in mind, 6.11-6.22 suggests that sales also happen at 6 and 6.33 but just not as in great number as 6.11 and 6.22. However, this is no longer the case. 6 refined is pretty much a quicksell by now and 6.33 is having better success than before. Therefore 6.11-6.22 is no longer accurate.

6.22 flat, on the other hand, seems to fit the current market pretty well. It suggests that sales happen at 6.11 and 6.33 but just not as often as 6.22. It also suggests that 6 is a quicksell.

Pyroman's range is a more direct way of saying the current price at which keys are normally traded at (6.11, 6.22, and 6.33) but does not take into account the sales that happen outside the range. His range of 6.11-6.33 suggests that 6 and 6.44 happen but not as often as 6.11-6.33. This is incorrect because 6 is a quicksell and 6.44 does not seem to even exist. (At least from what I've seen.)

This is a possible reason why 6.22 is a better price for keys than 6.11-6.33. (Of course the prices are up to the moderators to accept.)

Feel free to give me 9001 dislikes for agreeing to a raise of the key prices.

Adding on to your explanation, it's not that hard (I can go as far as saying easy) to find a 6.22 buyer which leaves the 6.11 sellers ignorant of the amount of high buyers for 6.22 while 6.33 buyers aren't happening yet. 6.33 I choose to ignore because tf2finance is nowhere near 6.33.

I agree. 6.33 seems to mostly happen for those who need keys quickly and 6.11 for those who need metal quickly. Nevertheless, success happens at both of those prices.

People will always sell above and below backpack.tf price. However, tf2 finance supports my price and 6.22 being the most commonly traded price and the fact that the amount of 6.22 buyers there are is more than enough to eradicate 6.12 out of the range.

tf2outpost doesn't represent the whole market. I've easily bought keys and seen many selling them for 6.11 ref on trade servers. You can even come along occasional sellers for 6 ref.

So? Trade servers don't represent the market either. TF2 Outpost represents the majority of the market (whopping 511,000 users) which is why it's the best source to use.

If you actually look at their backpack, all of them no longer have keys in their backpack. i think 6.22 is a good suggestion,ive been searching the outpost of people buying keys,most of them were buying for 6-6.22 ref(im not saying it should be 6-6.22) ,i dont see much of 6.33 and above,so thats an upvote for yah :)

Not really a difference between this suggestion and the other one. Proof in both suggestions shows that 6.22 is the most commonly traded price even though sales happen anywhere from 6-6.44. Giving it a range is somewhat arbitrary since no price on this site is absolute and even though this is listed at 6.22 flat, it is implied that sales happen both above and below this price - but that 6.22 is the most common.

Community supports both suggestions, but it seems to support this one by a little bit more. So that's the clincher. Accepting this one.
