Gonna stay neutral til those unsolds mature a little, although I do agree with you. With the number of people selling for 9 and 10 you'd be an idiot to buy for 11.

Downvote, no actual unsolds. You only have 3, and they need to be older than 2-3 days. Showing that your low/mid end of range is correct won't help, as it's already 9-11, so we know that 9/10 is possible.

If you look at all of the 9's and 10's those are mostly more than a day or two old, suggesting that even they are not selling right away. So unless by some freak happening people are refusing to buy at 9 and 10 and only going for 11, this seems like a pretty reasonable suggestion to me.

Yes, the diary is dropping, as it was predictably going to, due to the large number of traders who'd invested in them in the hopes that they would one day turn a nickel.

Halloween happened, they dumped them, and the price has turned to shit, where it will most likely stay, much the same as any other market, be it virtual or otherwise.

That's all cool. Basic economics. You'd be a fool to argue against fact.

The thing that's bothering me though, is the rate at which these decrease suggestions have been accepted.

Why is it okay to slash down a range on an item one day, then the next, and yet by the same logic it's price never seems to increase increase?

You only need to look at the suggestion history of this item to back this up, but I'll put up links because it makes me look like I'm a guy who know's what he's talking about, instead of just a spout of conjecture. (which I might still be.)

Three weeks ago, it wasn't uncommon for these to be sold anywhere from 1.5-3 buds, with all the hype going on with Halloween, and yet we here on bp.tf, wouldn't approve anything drastic, and only begrudgingly listed an increase of 2 keys, even though the fellow suggesting the increase had proof that the value was much higher. It was just a fad, and it would only last a week or two.

Which was true, it was just a fad, and it did only last a week or two.

It's the "be conservative, wait and see" mentality we have towards temporary increases in value, and the "yeah to heck with it" we've given to drops.

But that's really a problem with the way we think in the community, rather than this site. It's something I'm sure the admin's are aware of. There's really not much anybody can do about it, other than keep a cool head.
