starting with the word gey- gay immediatly loses my interest in upvoting. I will just remain neutral.

Gay can be also defined as "having or showing a merry, lively mood", so no harm is done when using those words.

But to the suggestion: Some of the proof is young and painted. not sure if there is enough of proof here.
