Yay for the bold blue name.
Seeing as this is a similar case to that of http://backpack.tf/vote/id/52533c514cd7b8a44a8b4568 ( and possibly http://backpack.tf/vote/id/52531cbb4cd7b858228b456c ) I guess it'd be a good idea to call that one sale in ages an outlier.

Now this, as I mentioned beforehand, is a similar case to that of the Noh. Owner had had it for several years and possibly listed it on the steam market (without having any recent trading experience, thus not knowing about market trends and such) basing on the outdated prices listed here.

Those are the 3 most notable offers shown there. Since the ranges on the mentioned accepted suggestions were also made up in a similar way, I don't really see any problem with that.
Just read the comments on http://backpack.tf/vote/id/523fa57a4dd7b8eb318b4568 (incluiding Jon's closure one) to see why I disagree with the other suggestion.

Still, you can't (shouldn't?) base a suggestion to raise a price based on the value of the offers a hat is getting without a single actual sale, and to go two steps out because the offers don't have backpack.tf prices (because it's duped, gifted, or unpriced) is ridiculous. The way you calculate the value of all of the offers is questionable. Wait for a real sale and come up with a solid number.
Waiting for an actual sale doesn't really seem like a good idea at first glance, mostly because people wouldn't be willing to spend on the hat due to bp.tf valuing it low and most people regard it as a bible (which is not intended), with the exception of some collectors. I do believe a conservative bump based on offers is much better than waiting until a sale comes by.
But doesn't that run counter to what has been being preached the last few years here?
Sell the hat on outpost and price it by that sale. If someone who likes a hat and only will bid according to this site shouldn't be buying in the 1st place. Whatever happened to paying what you want and passing if it exceeded that idea?
Nothing will convince me that this isn't a rake of a price for that hat and effect. Awful looking hat albeit rare and an ass effect to boot. So burning should be like 50 pure if pfetti gets 20.......
As a current owner of this hat , i can say only thank you for making this suggestion , i was personally thinking about making counter suggestion to Booger Flames's terrible suggestion , but i just was too tired and decided to not care anymore about it. I personally believe this shaman can reach even more , therefore that's why i would wait for myself to sell the hat first , but if one suggestion really has to pass , it would be yours , it included my purchase of the hat as an outlier and offers i received , the other suggestion ignored offers i received and wanted to put up the price purely based on what i bought it for , even if i was receiving much higher offers.
You have some serious problem , hating everything new , because new is bad and old is best and old should not EVER change. You were among first to play the game , you PAID for it , US F2Ps ruined the game and economy for you non-F2P master race , "fetti WAS cancer before in good old non-F2P days therefore it IS cancer now". Also you're saying that i bought it for 60$ , trying to get excuses to hate me , F2P , even more. Stop being full retard , the person who i bought the hat from clearly said it was sold for $400 ( If you bothered reading OP's post , but clearly you were too blinded with all the hatred. )

You obviously don't know a thing about shaman prices overall , therefore do not argue with people who know a thing or two about them. ( I'm not implying to myself , considering i'm rather new to unusual shaman pricing as well but to thekaushuman and no_revenue ).

Not hating anything new. Shaman has been around. Fetti is not new as its an original effect. your the one blind with rage. Lulz......I hate everything new but the hat has been in play for a bit and its an original effect we are discussing.
I did read the OP. If you read you would have seen I implied that anything can be written in a chat box. Its called collusion.......Do me a favor says hat owner B to hat owner A. I'll overpay if you imply I gave you a larger number. We both win. Don't talk to me F2P on how hat prices have been manipulated in the past, present and future. This hat being 20+ in unusuals just doesn't pass the smell test. Again, if it is this high because its 1 of 1 pfetti I hate to be the chimp that pays for that.
