wut? i know logic doesnt apply to prices but y would someone pay 3ref for something they can just get with 2ref (desc tag)

These bats were crafted and they show up in your inventory. There are a bunch of collectors who want to get every unique weapon. You have to have this crafted Bat otherwise the collection isn't completed.

That's not true. You can't craft stock weapons.
So...how do you get them then?
Before it was patched, you could restore named/desc versions of stock weapons.
Was the bat fully clean (no name/desc)? If so, it doesn't count as proof (ask Brad).

he added the killstreak himself as yNOox was just selling normal stock weps for 3 ref each, items with killstreaks are were quite a lot more

BUT this doesn't make sense since a description tag is 2.33 ref.

Not anymore. That's why clean ones are worth more.
Honestly i don't know, 2 links isn't much proof but one of them clearly says it was sold for that i guess.. but how can we be sure that just one image is enough proof? Staying neutral for now.
