I saw that, but I also ignored it since the offerer doesn't have 3 ref and the trade had to be open for 5 months to get that offer

Notice how the user who made the trade isn't probably online much and doesn't really plan on selling.

Notice how I just sold another one for 3.66 ref while making this suggestion.

Notice how you bring up a 4 month old trade which isn't relevant anymore because it's too old.

I brought it up to show that the seller which makes up a third of your proof has not had a uc foppish for over 4 months :P

Anyway, he still got a 3 ref offer even if he doesn't got one for sell. So the offer should still count.

There is almost no proof and you need at least 2 sales to make a suggestion. Down voted.

When you can get the Genuine and Clean Variant for 1.22-1.33, perhaps a bit more, it seems more like price manipulation to make it worth 3 ref, or even 2 for that matter.

The second evidence is also very skimpy and questionable.

It also doesn't help that the reason it was this much ref was because of the price for it 8 months ago.

1) Clean or genuine has NOTHING to do with the uncraftable version. So no need to bring that up.

2) Last price was 8 days ago.

3) I decreased my backpack the other day with 21 keys because of a suggestion I made so don't start this price manipulation bullshit please.

1. I highly doubt that there's a market for selling dirty hats and misc.s for more than their clean counterparts.

2. The last price was 8 days ago, and the one before that was 8 MONTHS. The one from 8 days ago was based upon the one 8 months ago, and unsurprisingly, is out of date. People sold the misc.s based on the backpack.tf price, and considering that the 2 ref was all they saw, that's what they went with. The evidence leads me to believe that few were sold during the 8 month time frame and thus people stopped caring.

3. You named 3 trades that included you! These are the prices you managed to make people pay. Heck, these could have been your friends working with you to raise the price. God knows why, but given that you stock pile hats, you could be playing the market for your own personal gain. It may not be the case, but it certainly seems that way.

one seller =/= market, got some suggestions of mine closed because of this, so even if you sold a bunch, since it was only you that sold it means it is all deemed invalid.

It's not like many people on outpost are selling this item. Hey, I wasn't even selling this item and got added way too much for it.

I counted 15 offers of 2.33 or less for the foppish out of the 25 bottom total offers on everything in the trade. Not exactly solid proof, eh?

Look at the recent offers. Notice the trade is 4 months old.

I'm not seeing any solid counter-proof either.

Clearly sellers at 2-2.33 are following the bp.tf price which is based on a conservative suggestion (without any solds) following the introduction of the foppish chem set. This seems to sell for close to the value of the clean foppish.
