Rare hat/effect combo, only three exist, only one is on the market (and this is the only one that was used in the last pricing as well). The other Circling effects on this hat go for much higher than 2.5 Buds. This is the only sale I could find in 2-3 months.

You do not need two sells to update the price of an already priced item.

Man, 4 buds really looks like an outlier when the max other offers were ~2.5-3
I don't think it's an outlier, especially since Circling Hearts Ballcap is priced at 8 - 8.5 and TF Logo Ballcap is 3.9 - 4.2 (although that price is slightly outdated). Plus it's the only recent sale we've had in a while.
it does seem like an outlier though, because it took 1 and a half months to sell and it seems like he was desperate for it
Some hats do end up taking a month+ to sell.
"I sold my backpack for 4 buds pure and I might come back after xmas with 18 keys just a heads up."
"Let me know if you could come down any or if you will take 4 buds and 18 keys. A penny saved is a penny earned."
If he was desperate, wouldn't that mean he values his hat higher than what he decided to take? He could have received his B/O of 5 in some time, but instead he settled for 4.
On rare hats, it is fair to go as far back as 3 months to find more sales to help figure out a hat value. More data points is always helpful. As I mentioned above, I couldn't find a single offer more than 2.5-3 any where. So I went to look for older sales that are still within the last 3 months;

Everything seems to point to the sale at 4 being an outlier. Current range is low, no doubt. And a suggestion at ~2.5-3 based on the previous sale and offers would be reasonable. But a single buyer who pays way higher than any one else while a hat is on the market for 2 months looks like a legit outlier.
