God, this thing is annoying, why it exists beats me ( Don't ask why I'm raising the price, though )
but this was ALL i found on outpost
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/14662111 Sold for .88
Hope this works, i never tried a suggestion with such little proof to use :P
bucket will probably close bcuz 1 seller does not run the market
True, but there are only 3 trades on Outpost/Bazzar. I understand that one link probably doesn't do good, but I couldn't find anything else. Sorry :P
not saying it's your fault lol just saying that's what bucket might say
I know!
However, some suggestions like this one only had one link and got accepted
http://backpack.tf/vote/id/529a47d54cd7b8d5448b456e
But well just see what happens in the end of the day
You have to suport the fact that .66 is impossible to buy at. Downvote
and YOU have to consider that this is uncommon and hasn't had many recent sales. Downvote on you.
hators gonna hate
How about YOU go and look for unsolds W/ very very little trades open on outpost and bazzar
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/12875247
Guy offered .66
after 5 months of being open
that was 5 months ago, the price has changed since then, silly!
Actually, it was 2 weeks ago. Not sure.
Going to downvote, it only shows proof that one kukri sold for 0.88 but that's already in the range, i feel the current range of 0.66-1 ref should be kept and not changed since of a single sale.
Another thing is that for some people, the name matters when they buy a renamed stock weapon, so occasionally people will choose to pay a few more scrap to buy the name they like best over the one they don't. So i just think the wide range should be kept for that, since some people might buy a kukri for 1 ref or even 2 if it has a name they love, but pass on a kukri being sold for less simply because the name means nothing to them. That's why there's almost always a wide range on them.
Mine is fully clean so it isn't usable proof.
Fair enough, i will get rid of it
upvote i sold one for 3 refined
trade: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/16438585
proof: Sold - Kukri : http://i.imgur.com/tZmCo6c.jpg 15 Dec 2013
I appreciate your assistance
how a 3 refined sale helps this suggestion?
not in the range, but it shows that it can sell for higher i guess
it doesnt have sense , its like
I sold one for 3 refined , then the price should be 0.88-1.00
whut? mindblown*
Maybe.
but a range of 0.88-3 would be kinda weird :P
I got that support AFTER i suggested this.
Even then, i would still keep it at this range, because trade servers seem to mostly highball there
Well you could round .88 to 1 ref then do 1-3 ref
so many weird ranges on stock weps
it's clean, so it's invalid.
it might've been but actually he didn't show whether or not the kukri had a desc
It's not
http://backpack.tf/id/76561197988454672?time=1387008000
Filter 'kukri', it's desced "NOW THIS IS A KNIFE"
ok.
Even then, the proof the suggestor presented is an ancient trade that has no sign of a recent comment add.
^^^^^^
mind showing if it had a description? if it didn't it's invalid
nice. even finding one is hard.
DOWNVOTE
- Lack of proof
- No proof that 0.66 is a quick sell
- No proof that 1 Ref is possible
- Current range of 0.66 - 1 Ref is fair to buyers and sellers
- No solid proof
- If there is no proof to support your suggestion - then perhaps there's no need to make a suggestion
"Lack of proof", please find more if you can...
#joke
There isn't much at market..
That isn't a valid excuse for poor proof.
I hope you know that these things are very hard to find in the market; only a few
trades are on the market.
I would understand this if this would be a hat or something, but those listings are not as strict with these kind of suggestions
Well perhaps you could find proof that .66 is possible? That would count as real counter-proof.
I could say the same
Well perhaps you could find proof that 1 Ref is possible?
Kind of iffy on this one since you haven't disproved 0.66 ref and haven't proved 1 ref.
Since 1 ref is already in the current range, I don't believe he has to prove the 1 ref part?
Yes he still has to. I thought I didn't have to in my half-zatoichi suggestion and only had one link for my low-end and it got closed anyways: http://backpack.tf/vote/id/52771ec34dd7b8bc708b456c
That's good to know. I've heard lots of people say this on the suggestions.
The difference is that the vintage half-zatoichi has a lot more trades on outpost compared to this item. Unless, however, there were a lot less when you made the suggestion.
So?
Well a small amount of links could alter the price of items as rare as this one since the ratio between proof and the amount of trades is fairly close, but an item that has a fair amount of trades shouldn't be changed at all if they only have 1 link to support the lower part of the range.
But that's what makes it worse. I've seen many uc suggestions get a high price spike because of one lucky sale and then go down as time goes by because simply it was a lucky sale back then and there was no counter proof. There is a reason why they enforce the 2 sale rule for new effects for unusual suggestions. What I don't like about this suggestion is that it has no dirty proof and doesn't have any offers that falls within his range. He's not proving that 1 ref is possible, and one ancient trade for .88 with no recent sign of a comment (+2 weeks ago) and it's not really disproving .66 in any way with no offers disproving it. It's still not a valid excuse for poor proof.
Fair enough. You have persuaded me to agree.
Are you saying i should close the suggestion?
Found this
http://bazaar.tf/trade/583315
Been unsold for a week around the backpack.tf price
Doesn't show a price there if you don't pay attention to it saying the value of it when you hover your mouse over it. Not too sure if he intends to sell it bp.tf price. But who knows. This is why you list all your prices in notes, otherwise it can be confusing.
That one is gifted.
As for the suggestion, not enough here for the suggested range. The only link included is a 2 month old trade that doesn't even have stock. We don't even know the last time he sold one.
