Why is it being sold for high now?

The new weapon changes give it a crit for every backstab you make. Basically, it's a much better weapon now. And much more desirable as a result.

A huge buff by valve.

It adds an extra crit if you backstab someone. It was part of the update.

Buffed like there's no tomorrow, can now get additional crits per each backstab.

Short circuit was also buffed madly, it's now an actual wep lol. It's so op I got a killstreak of 7 with mine.

Yep, insane both how high it jumped and how few are on the market. Had a peek at Outpost earlier - any priced under a key are long gone.

It will be hilarious if Valve nerfs it again next week :D

Yeah, the new buff is really making it worth more, like the Baby face, but this one really made it better.

The only problem with that is the Baby Face was 3 refined pretty much the day after it was buffed, but now it is dropping once more (atm 1.33 ref). Probably gonna happen to this too. But still. Just looking at this I want a Strange one as well.

I don't know how I did it but I managed to snatch one for 1 ref in a trade server. I'm not saying it was luck, but it was luck.

I suck too much at aiming with any Spy Revolver, let alone aiming for the head with the Ambassador. I am good, however, at getting backstabs so I guess this weapon now suits my skills much better. :)

Now let's see how long it takes for this weapon to plummet.
