Link 1: No proof from either source that anything else wasn't traded along with the snaggle
Link 2: No proof of what "sweets" were added
"sweets" typically aren't very large... If you think for one second that small sweets will change the outcome of the suggestion... you're wrong. Suggestions have been accepted before when they are .1 or .2 off.
But you're coming to a conclusion that link 1 was a 1:1, when there's no proof of that shown. They traded hats, but that's not necessarily swapping.

It seems ~9 keys were added to the conn cap for the snaggle. Assuming sweets is always dangerous.

Unfortunately, the chef hat was used to price the snaggle. So it is not then appropriate to price the chef hat based on the snaggle. It would be pricing it from its own sales 8 months ago. You will need some more sales / offers here to support your range. Perhaps the snaggle should be reupdated after this is updated.
There are no other sales that I could find. The AF Slug sale is a bit iffy, because of the searing con is outdated aswell.
