5 month old price. Limited links, but 13 keys is not obtainable.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/15104699
Had BO for 13 keys, best offer was nuts bombing (11 keys or so with overpay)
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/15700950
sold for 10 in less than a day (proves 10 is a quicksell)
I sold mine to
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/16666843
For 2 painted (lime/orange) bills + 1 key in sweets (so around 12 keys)
and he has a BO of 13
I got the hat http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/15853868 from him; I gave him a p. fetti outdoorsman and he added around 4.5 keys in sweets (valuing the mongo at around 12)
I'd say bills are very easy to sell for 6 keys (more so if you give free paint),so I'd consider the sale is 13 keys easily (not to say many consider bills a currency)
And as for the outdoorsman trade - the hats price is 10 months old,and the mongo 5 months eh
And merry Christmas ^^
Edit - not to say,you can't prove your lower end with an offer
Old prices, none the less I feel it's pretty accurate.
i don't > there are only 9 outdoorsmans, none on the market (pretty collectors if you ask me)
rather than valuing the mongo, you should value the outdoorsman, considering he added 4.5 keys of sweets to the mongo, kinda says the price is totaly outdated (for the outdoorsman)
Outdoorsman is around 16.5 or so
12-15 <<< are we talking about the same hat ? :P
Ah, the price was 16.5 when I traded for it. Bud devaluation/key inflation changed prices I guess
You should use original suggested values for hats. And guess what- for the outdoor it's 0.7-0.9 buds Lol
The hat never got a right suggestion made for it,yet both passed. Totally outdated I say
You sold the Lime Bill's for 6.4 keys and the Orange Bill's for 6.2 keys. Adding the other key in sweets would be 13.6 keys, not 12
You have to account for overpay, though. And factor in that he's had a BO at 13 with no takers, it's safe to say mine was a outlier. Especially considering he wanted to trade back 15 minutes after we made the trade.
Seems sound. Upvote.
Bill's are easy selling at 6 keys.
not to say
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/16666876
To be fair, the guy that traded me wanted to trade back, as he realized this wasn't the best deal for him. I'd say my sale was an outlier.
You don't have 2 sales then
Edit: or you rejected the retrade << ?
I rejected the retrade, of course. I know that was a great deal for me and that it's higher than the hat is worth.
still,it has went for that, and it's a valid trade. basically you'd make the price 11-12 even do he actually paid 13(+?)
you are trying to prove your lower end with an offer, and showing the a trade at the higher end is an outliner ? :P
There's a BO at 13 that hasn't sold for around 4 days, let alone get an offer. If there's a lower BO than a hat has been sold for in the past, that BO ALWAYS determines the higher end.
then the higher end is 13 ?
glad we came to an agreement <3
Ah, you misunderstand. If a BO has not been met, then the high end should be slightly lower than the high end. So in this case, 12.
But you sold it for 13 keys. (2 bill's + 1 key)
he is saying that that is an outliner cuz the new owner didn't sell it for 13 keys in 4 days eh
na na,you don't understand,i was being sarcastic lol
anyhow, okay, let's say that is true, why to put the lower end at 11 when that was just an offer... ?
i'll make a summary,i just saw this had too many upvotes
L1 - doesn't count / just an offer
L2 - yep quicksell
L3 - 13 keys easily (suggestor is now considering it an outliner)
L4 - outdoorsman isn't up to date at all,and would need a new price, not to say the calcultaion is a tad shady

This suggestion has a lot of flaws and he's not showing us solds that happened. I found 2 other sales are not shown here
Real price should be 12-14 keys according to the other sales.
Downvote
true ^^
i've been saying that for some time now (cough 4 days)
silly enough,it showed a few times that the suggestion had enough upvotes
13 keys easily? I spent 4 weeks trying to sell this hat.
1. I didn't say 13 was easy, which it seems to be, but that's not the point. It's possible
2. Unusuals take time to sell. They aren't like regular items
3. I found 2 more trades higher than what you sold it for, and it took them each a couple weeks or less to sell
4. Every unusual trader and buyers are different. They have different techniques. Your technique is to not give a guy a refund and be a dick for profit.
It's not being a dick, I have a family to support and I rely partially on TF2 money to do so. In any case, I'm sure the admins will see that 14 is not good at all.
If you say so. Good luck
