sharking by definition is manipulating someone into trading items for the user's advantage/profit. that's different from quickbuying.

Seriously, I didn't know that. In my point of view, quickbuying is buy anything for 0.33 or 1 Ref less, but he's buying the Sub Zero Suit for 1 Key when it's 2.5... Generally I use the word "sharking" for things like that.

quickbuying is relative to the cost of the item.

A 90 bud burning Team Captain would be a quicksell, but that's way more than .33 to 1 ref discount. I think a more accurate definition would be that quickbuying is buying an item for 60%-80% of its value. I think anything less than that is fishing or sharking depending on who you ask AND how its offered on.

Of course it's heavily dependent on the market, key quickbuying/selling is a much narrower range because the market is very quick to clear so differences of just scrap change the supply or demand sharply. Vintage painted hats? The market is much worse so quickbuyers tend to buy at half value if they buy at all.
