Suggestion: Refined Metal at $0.28–$0.30

A. Refined is practically useless so there is not a huge market for it like there is for keys/buds. Try looking yourself and you will see. Also, since key prices fluctuate so much, many sellers never update there prices for refined and they stay stuck at 32-35 cents and more.

Overall sales for refined are sporadic and usually occur in small amounts. I want to stress the fact that the price of refined if converted from keys is $.0265. There are quirks of ref<->$$$ sales that really skew the data (there is a tendency for small sales amounting to a few dozen ref or so by newbies to happen among a wide range of prices) if looked at with conventional bp.tf suggesting.

Speaking of unusuals, I really never understood why Unusuals are priced in USD.

Like, right now, if this passes, price of a bud in USD would lower and in effect "raise" the Unusual prices, even though neither has changed.

Brad is changing them to keys soon. Also theres a key and a bud suggestion.

If they change it to keys its already fluctuated greatly. You would need new price suggestions or go and see what the last suggestion was IN KEYS before the freaking variations of bud/key value. My example= poisoned shadows cosa nostra, original suggest range 7-9 buds, current range 6-7.7. Difference? I THINK HUGE. Reason range was so big? original price use and overpay made the lower end 7 rather than 8. REALLY BIG DIFFERENCE.

Current price of refined when compared to keys: $0.265 ( $1.85/7 )

key price is based on the price of refs so yeah it needs to go down as he pointed out you can buy keys for 1.8-1.9$/each which is still cheaper than buying metals

This sadly has become a common practice anymore, it has all become about profit whoring. I see it daily in my server. The arguments have stated to become very heated and ppl seem to be rude to anyone that trys to offer lower than what is recorded here. I vote against it as this is one of the key items most used in trades.

114 raw metal isn't really much to cry over for a 2 cent drop so I don't think you're particularly biased. This is just bound to happen though since metal:key ratio keeps increasing.

One thing this site never gets right is price density. When an unusual has 3 sales at 4 buds and one sale at 3, the range becomes 3~4, setting the average at 3.5 instead of the average which is about 3.75. You gave 2 trades for the lower end, and said there were"dozens" selling from .31 to .50, now we need to see unsolds in the current

Agree with the second part of this comment. However mods have been pushing (at least in unusual suggestions) for the exclusion of apparent outliers, which is a start in accounting for density.

There are very few who sell refined for cash rather than items, which is what this suggestion requires. This is quite a hefty chunk of those who do sell ref, and easily constitutes a price change.

Metal doesn't really have any use in monetary value to me. You have a lot a proof, these haters are just mad because they are seeing the value of their backpack go down.

As You Can See, It Is Still Possbile At 0.30 - 0.32 And Even more. That's Why I'm downvoting this. I found tons of trades at the current range but I didn't see any comment on them, so, I didn't put them.

Now this is viable counter-proof. Frankly I was shaky on this suggestion. There was a very good lack of .28 trades. Was planning on doing some research later on but you but the nail in the coffin for my decision, so to speak. Am not to sure that metal has to decrease just because the keys have increased, or at least require more proof to think differently. Am down voting.
