Had a buyout of 9, unsure if it actually sold for that or not. it's 4 days old.

DOUBLE EDIT : The guy's weird, he had it for like 1 day, then sold it for dirt cheap? Might have sold for keys to unbox? He has a bunch of Unusual trades up, and the guy's inventory is really strange with how long he keeps these hats.

You don't necessarily need sales to prove something, but it sure makes the suggestion better than just going by selling prices. Also people are disliking since your first comment is useless, and the second doesn't make sense.

Because the buyout has been unsold for a week and the original value is 10-11, far below the current price. The hat is not duped. This is acceptable.

Generally yes sales are far preferred than buyouts, but if there's no sales for some time the other sales are outliers then yes this is acceptable.

Of course I'm taking this for granted that there are no other sales (because I'm in the phone) and taking a guess that this might not sell for some time so this is risky.

I hope this shit docent go through. the guy wanting 7 is asking as a qs. I understand that qs means sell quickly but its still a qs. I could ask for 25 buds on a miami KE and have nobody pay it, is that the price of it? Also if it can't sell for 7 then WHY IS THAT THE RANGE. You need sales.

idc what Korodin or whatever said. The anger for 9 was only up for 1 day, that does not mean it can't sell for it. The one for 10 is up for 3 days rarely bumped. You still need sales. It can be lowered to 4 buds IF IT SELLS FOR 4 BUDS. And WHY THE FUCK would you have a qs for 7 be in the range. QS in the range is a joke

What I posted more than likely wasn't a sale for 9 buds, if a sale at all. The guy has so weird of a trade history I can't keep track of what he does with anything, but I really doubt it sold for 9 buds is less than a day. Also, the 7 bud trade isn't a quicksale just because he says it is. If it's unsold for a long enough time, it's pretty obvious that it isn't actually a quicksale.

For example, I can "quicksell" my unpriced unusual for 12 buds, and if it takes a month to sell, then it sure as shit wasn't a quicksale.

And mind you, just because someone sells under backpack price, that doesn't mean they're quickselling. We report on prices, not make them. The market has already changed by the time the suggestion is made.

You can lower if there is a buyout set and no one is taking it and the buyout is lower than the original price, OP is 10-11, if a 7 can't sell, how should a 10-11 sell?

But you can hunt for sales yourself to counter this. I might hunt around myself after dinner and see if there's been any sales within the past two weeks.

B/o's mean NOTHING. I would prefer that you have sales in the price range then B/o's in the range.

A quicksell is not simply defined by time to sale. An essential component is how the sale relates to other sales and offers, especially in pure. If a hat "quicksells" 10 times for 8, it should be valued at 8. If a hat takes 2 weeks to "quicksell" at 8 but has tons of offers at 10-12 and previous sales at 10-12, 8 is an outlier. Time to sale is only 1, and I would argue a minor one, component when we consider hat values.

Sooo yeah, this is an odd unusual, recent sale with over 9 buds yet a 7 bud cant even QS it. I have no idea, I'll let better experts or admins determine this.
