Not really a counter-suggestion, but maybe 5.7 is a quicksell and shouldn't be included in the range. Just posting this to give people options

Looks like it'll be that way for a long time
Conclusion
I asked about this a while ago on the forums, if buds should be taken as what they were at the time of sale, and most people (incuding a few mods, said yes, they should. Therefore, 6 buds when buds were 18 keys would be 5.7 buds when buds are 19 keys. Wasn't sure if 5.7 buds was a quicksell or not, but I guess it doesn't seem that way. I'll leave it up to see where it goes, or re-suggest if anyone can tell me something I might have done wrong. Any Extra Proof/Cunter-Proof/Opinions/Tips/Help is all welcome. Thanks for reading. Feedback is always appreciated.
In suggestions, 6 buds will should = 6 buds no matter the change in keys. If you held onto those 6 buds for the time, you'd still have 6 buds, end of story.
I also think the range should be 6 - 6.4.
lel :)
Link 3 isn't a "qs". it took him 3 weeks to sell it. That should be in the range.
Just take look on my 2 suggestions.....
Closed by you, not by an admin. Whats ur point?
Everyone said 6 is qs, and 6 = 5,7 :D
So opinions > actual proof?
At the time, you could buy buds for 18 keys. At this time, you buy buds for 19 keys. Since at the time he paid 6 buds and you could buy/sell buds for 18 keys, that's 108 keys. Now, you have to buy buds for 19 keys. Therefore, you have to value buds then at 18, buds now at 19. Divide 108 by 19, you get 5.7 buds. That would be the price of the sale right now.
Not an opinion, it's fact.
I am not argumenting about the value of the transaction. I am just saying that the sale should be taken into account since it wasn't a quicksale.
So the sale is not a quicksale, it's a legit sale
Why'd you close? Could've kept it up to see where it went.
He got a buyer after 2 days. The buyer (Patryk) was collecting pure and that took him 3 weeks.
(expensive) unusuals always take pretty much time to sell, if somebody is selling an expensive unusual got a buyer within 2 days, I would consider it as a quicksell.
Just because somebody gets an interested buyer within 2 days doesn't mean it's a quicksell. It took 3 weeks to actually get it sold and nobody besides Patryk seemed to be interested.
All that matters is the time it takes to sell. And Patryk would buy every halloween effect stash that is on the market for a reasonable pure price.
Just to clarify here. The whole point of this rule - http://forums.backpack.tf/index.php?/topic/4350-new-rule-use-original-suggested-values-of-unusuals/ - was that we found that unusuals kept getting traded in the same number of buds regardless of the buds value. If you were to argue that buds should be valued as they were at the time you would be arguing in favor of the current system which stores them in USD. With the new site update, everything will be stored in buds and the rule won't be necessary once all unusuals have been caught up.
Basically, this means that 6 buds is 6 buds regardless of when the hat was traded.
