why are you using the hearts merry as proof here and suggesting a price change for that at the same time? surely wait for the suggestion to be accepted or rejected first.

this is how I always do it, and how ive seen most other people do it too

i've never noticed anyone suggesting a price for a hat based on a price they are trying to update at the same time. surely one of the suggestions is inevitably going to be inaccurate? either your merry suggestion passes and that changes the value this should be or this passes and relies on a 7 month old price?

in the case of an outdated price, people usually use the price in a suggestion that is up at the time and has a fairly high chance of being accepted, if it isn't, the admins either accept the suggestion relying on it, knowing that the effect on the value is small, or you resuggest
