Only guy wants 2 buds

Conclusion

One sale at 1.3, one at 2. polar bears said the range was too big, so he gave me a link to the guy that sold in the first proof, and he had a buyout of 1.6 which I didn't see. You can't have a price more than someones Buyout, even when it was a few days ago. These are things polar bear says: http://i.imgur.com/7wH3mED.png? -- So...yeah. Just as long as Unknown doesn't get the rep hurr durr Any Extra Proof/Cunter-Proof/Opinions/Tips/Help is all welcome. Thanks for reading. Feedback is always appreciated.

I'm not sure if you used the unusual overpay (if the sale was done with items, you have to multiply the value by 0.9) and if you would do that, the range would be 1.2 - 1.6 which is the same. Why to make a suggestion for the same range? Thanks for response

Btw, unsolds for the australium SMG at 1 bud:

    http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/16941104 - 2 days

    Fast counterproof:

1st sale: Engie cap is around 2.07, australium SMG has no price set - makes the sale to around 1.2

    2nd sale: 1.75*0.9=1.57 buds. Sale of 1.57

3rd sale: ??? - seems like you are redicting to 1st sale which is 1.2

Total: 1.2-1.6 ->just like the active price

      1. The Big Country was offered. No overpay needed if offered

      2. This hat was never priced. Like, ever. The site just made a price for it out of thin air. This way, it has a price for people to use

      3. He sold the SMG for a bud. Doesn't matter what others are selling for. Point is he got a bud out of it, so it's valued at a bud.

        1. erm... i've inspected enough suggestions to think that you need to multiply the price by 0.9 when it was traded for items unless it was for pure.

        2. 3 suggestions, all are with proof and in the same range ~~~

        3. Now i get it, but still. He received items, not pure. But if i would go by counting it as 1 pure, it would be: this unu + 1 for 2.07 which is 1.07 at total :/

          1. Well, you're mistaken

          2. 3 closed suggestions.

          3. Take it up with polar bear.

          Also, your counterproof:

1st sale: No overpay needed, since the BIG COUNTRY was offered for the Cap

2nd sale: You need to use original prices.

3rd sale: Shows that people are asking for 1.6 buds, and can't have a price over what someone wants

P.S.: It's okay to re-suggest an active price, just to refresh it. Thing is, this was never priced before, and the sale isn't at 1.2

Please come back when you know how unusual suggestions work. Thanks.

I don't want to start a fight or whatever haha, lets just see what it will end like :P

              - Overpay is only applied to hats that are offered because the offerer is always expected to overpay if not in pure. We don't advocate reverse overpay, so we tell people to just take the hats at middle values if that is the case. The guy offered on the engi hat, so he was expected to overpay. In cases where we don't know who offered, we calculate overpay, which is why you probably see a bias of more hats taken with overpay than without.

              - Original suggestion on the pusher was 2-2.4. That is 2 after overpay. http://backpack.tf/stats/Unusual/Pencil%20Pusher/Tradable/Craftable/19

Price on that is in USD so it keeps fluctuating with buds / key changes; this problem has been fixed with the new site update, but it still affects all suggestions that happened before the site update

              - This hat has never been priced before. It was set based on an algorithm at the websites inception. Over time, most unusuals got priced. But in the whole time this website has been up, this still hasn't been priced so the original price is there. That's why it is relevant to set a price based on vote, not its original price of 1.2-1.6. New unusuals do not have the same problem and are left unpriced. But there are still some rare hats that have never been priced but have an attached value.

As for this suggestion, well, sales are at 1.3 and 2. That range seems wide given the b/o of 1.6, which is why a range of 1.3-1.6 is probably better and close to the hat value.
