This should be for just the tradeable one, right? At least it seems like so.
Only 5 in the world - http://stats.tf/item/5500/RIFT_Well_Spun_Hat_Claim_Code
Only one sale that is traceable. Was about 10 months ago but oh well.

Sold for a clean Vuvuzela noise maker (priced at 1.5 buds at the time) to dpi.erico, who had offered that in a trade post. It has never been sold since then.
None on the market either .-.
It says 5 are tradable, craft and not gifted but neway upvote, i love cool rares like this
As, d0 mentioned, price is better than not having price at all.

Rising the gear up
How do you get these?
I used this for a gibus
;-;
Tradeable ones were most likely produced by support glitches (the same that made the vintage shortstop/lid/bud/guadalajara/bill's/etc. or the uncraft lid/max's/big kill)
The common ones were given to ALL players some time in 2009-2010 iirc
Correction, they were given to all players that earned an achievement between that time. If I remember correctly, the achievement was called Riftwalker, where you had to kill an opponent within 5 seconds after using a teleporter.
oh, right, just checked the wiki
Read this sir.

10months, hmm.
Price > no price.
Upboat
As always, I had no idea these existed. Where do you come up with this stuff?
Upboat.
Remember when one of your unusual price suggestion got closed because you used WAY too ancient links? I think this is no different scenario.
I had used trades from jan-feb 2012 in that one, which was way over 1.5 years old
meh, w/e
I still don't see the point of this suggestion. What's the point pricing this item if it's never gonna hit the market again or ever be used in trading? Even then, it's probably gonna be horribly inaccurate if used in trading.
Well, it's literally stuck in a collector's bp. idc tho, the same argument could've been used to close http://backpack.tf/vote/id/52117f034bd7b8043e000011
Actually it can be fair to price it to give the guy his correct bp value, that should go for any item no matter how rare it is. That's what you live for, isn't it?
Looking through the first owner's backpack ("If You Catch My Meaning"), it looks like Sir J-j-jon bought it with a Bill's Hat + 4 keys and some metal.

after: http://backpack.tf/id/76561198027933364?time=1361088000
Note that this was back when Bill's were worth 8 keys.
Not sure if that could be deemed as an outlier
What is to say that the 1.5 is not the outlier?
That's why I'm not sure.
at that time buds were ~26 keys which means this would be priced at 39 keys, the first sale would actually be roughly 12 keys.
>.<
Welp, the guy who traded the Vuvuzela noise maker was an oddity collector, apparently.. so I'd imagine he would offer a bit high.
To be honest, I doubt this suggestion will get far with the mods :P
Ancient sale. Two sales at 12 keys and 1.5 buds. Can't tell whats the outlier. Best to leave it unpriced. Basing prices as they were at the time only works to a certain extent. You are setting this price now and the clean vuvu would be 10-13 keys now. Just too many moving parts here.
