Other one has better proof

How is basing on offers better proof? Lol.
lol you are getting so much hate. I am glad that I am not in your boat at the moment.
Anyways, dunno about this...When rising price sold is most powerful price but community seems to be tending toward the offer and the sold.

Pulling the gear at neutral
This is really uncalled for...barely a .1 difference. If it was +.2 I can understand but this is just unnecessary.
there is another suggestion with better proof is what he means
Did you read my comment? The other suggestion is basing a low-end on offers, which is inaccurate. This is because bp.tf prices represent what hats actually sell for - in this case, 1.1 buds. It is not reasonable to put 1 bud in the range because it has never sold for 1 bud. Do you see now?
If you read this: http://forums.backpack.tf/index.php?/topic/7-how-to-create-a-good-unusual-price-suggestion/
It clearly says: • ✓ DO set it to a commonly offered amount. If 3 buds was offered multiple times, rejected, and the hat sold for not much more, then perhaps 3 buds is a good low end to set it at. But be careful not to set it to a "lowball". Also make sure the range is not too wide or too narrow. A 0.5-1.5 bud range is a good range for most unusuals.
1 bud was a common offer, as it was offered twice. This shows that people were willing to pay 1 bud for the hat, even though it wasn't sold. Then, the hat was sold for not much more (1.1 buds)
Ah, I didn't actually see that. Sorry. I think that's pretty stupid, personally, and it does say 'perhaps'. Seeing as he was offered 25 keys and a Steaming Company man, this case, does it seem to be appropriate? Gonna have to say no, sorry.
The guy never had 25 keys in his bp, and it wasn't actually offered. If you check the guy's bp, he has 3 keys pure. It was also a b/o given by corillo risem
He had 25 keys at the time of the offer - see his trade buying buds for keys, and BP history.
Wow thanks for stealing my suggestion and my proof. So far for both my suggestions on backpack.tf, there is always another person who happens to suggest right after I do.
It's not your suggestion. Why are you so annoyed? I'm literally making your hat go up. :L
Your suggestion is countering his suggestion :s
And, so what?
So you care about rep more than accuracy, so you don't care that you just steal another persons proof and suggest a 0.5 bud difference, so you don't care that a new user knows how to make a better unusual suggestion than you do, so you don't care you're making him feel bad ("there is always another person who happens to suggest right after I do"), so you can do whatever you want since you're a Blue star and Blue stars always right.
I sense a little bit of anger. Honestly, why? I'm just making a suggestion, there was no malicious intent or anything of the sort.
if someone stole something from you, wouldn't you be angry about it? Apparently no. And others just feel bad for the guy for what you did. Can't you understand? Stealing is stealing, both irl and internet.
Learn what stealing means.
EDIT - 'the property of others'. Suggestion is not property.

What you did - Took his proof, cut some out so that you could make your own suggestion out of it without any attempt at all to help a new person make a better suggestion for your own benefit. note, only replied to you Kolmio because I can't reply to revenue :/
Learn not to be a douche
Winning suggestions is important to him to gain confidence in suggestion making so that he can help make new suggestions and comment on existing (this creates better prices rather than being dictated by just a few people like spreadsheet). People will almost blindly upvote your suggestion- just because of your rep and so win your suggestion. This destroys confidence in new traders.
You are aware votes mean pretty much nothing, right? It's the admins who make the final decision, and it's rare they're actually influenced by votes. If his suggestion is more accurate, it'll pass, regardless of which belt I am.
Up or down, does not matter,
An accurate price is all in tatters.
Dude, stop suppressing new traders from making suggestions.
"But mister rep is so precious and important for me"
i agree that you stole his proof. could've just told him which would be better. but instead of doing so you just post your own. generally hated that instead of showing what he's doing wrong, you create your own suggestion.
but sadly i agree with this price. just because someone rejects two 1 bud offers doesnt make that the low end. the price is to represent what you can get it for, and obviously 1 bud isnt getting you this hat
Thank you for being the first person to respond logically! In hindsight, I realize I probably should have warned him - will do so next time.
You never warn anyone when you repwhore. You've done it before. Hopefully you're being sincere.
Neither do you, then you complain about it!
I don't repwhore. I tell them what they did wrong, and then I counter-suggest is they refuse to re-suggest
If they have no proof, I tell them still what they did wrong and I go look up the proof for myself.
Needs more proof
I see so much hate... Still, offers aren't as accurate as prices, and since it got offered a steaming company man ( 1.5 ), then it should used as high end? Mind hurts...
Eexactly. Not using 1.5 high-end because, after all, it was tentative - but it also got offered 25 keys, so 1 bud seems unfair.
Seems like that rule will cause not few discussions... I feel like offers don't make prices, but hey, ain't brad pitt!
It did say 'perhaps'. :]
