    Steam Market isn't really valid proof but you have other links to support your range.


    If a person is selling an item for $5 he/she is not really selling for that price. 15% - 20% have to be taken off. Why? Because Valve takes off that money for themselves. Buyer end up paying less for that item. If you sell/buy from Steam Community a lot you would notice and know the system of it.


    Anyways, good proofs other than that.

    I remember offering a s.f. wrench on the first day for this and a s.f. flare gun...lucky me the guy didn't accept because he was offered a s.f. sniper rifle before.
