I think scrap.tf bots are paying 0 ref for the ellis cap at the moment.

This is mostly due to L4D2 being free for a day, and everyone who downloaded it got the hat.

anyone who's been trying for 1 or 1.11 is like doing a quicksell. i traded 8 caps in 24 hours for 1.22, some people tried to lowball. but no, if you're patient then you'll get results.

i am pissed enough as it is with the 7, 7.22 refs for keys as it is. stop ruining the damn economy.

Ellis was never happy. His hat was already more than 5 Keys less than Bill's. He quit life after that. L4D3 Will not have Ellis! (Jk I do not know....)

Hard to argue with all the market competition after L4D2 was temporarily free. The market will probably settle down eventually, but for now the range is accurate.
