I really think you have overpaid. Cases like this are the reason why we introduced the 2 sales rule for new effects/hats.

Nice massive overpay, you payed over double what the burning leadwear is worth.

You have no proof that you paid $400. There is also a rule in place that requires at least 2 completed sales to set the price for a new unusual. This is to ensure that it is not over or underpriced based on its first trade.
