These keys have expired (turned into regular keys) and naughty winter crates can be no longer opened. Proof in this case should not be necessary.

For those about to get heart attack from lack of proof:

Most trades are outdated and have been created back when the crates were still openable.

TF2OP does not support searching these keys specifically.

This situation is no different than:

One of the laziest rep whores I've seen to this day.

Proof in this case should not be necessary.

Yes it should. Naughty and Nice keys remain existing as long as you don't boot tf2. Therefore there is still a market for these items and you need to support your claim with valid proof.

BP.TF shows old icon on purpose. Other than that, these keys are gone and they have no special meaning just like Spooky, Eerie, Fall etc. Sure, you will find a couple collector's looking for these but those are outliers. This situation is not any different compared to previous expired keys.

Not true, these keys as they used to be don't exist in the schema anymore, the only reason bp.tf can differ them from the others is because they still have the same defindex, but now have the same function as regular keys.

i.e. collecting those would be like collecting craft #s above 100 - you can't see them in-game.

These keys can still be collected by collectors stored in an alt account to prevent them from changing :P

Please learn how things work around here before putting proofless suggestions :)

You can't prevent the key from changing because it no longer exists in the item schema.

doesnt mean you can exclude valid proof

"All suggestions require proof. Yes, even the "obvious" ones. Given the obtuse collector market, it is better to show something is no longer collectable just in case (like other expired keys)"~cleverpun

                Added some proof.

As i know, it stll exist in inventories and can be traded. So it is just a collector's item. So it still needs a price, not matter how many of them are in existance.

it doesn't, all nice/naughty keys are just plain uncraftable keys now, no matter whether the inventories were opened or not

If it didn't exist in item schema, bp.tf wouldn't be able to differ expired keys from other keys

they don't quite literally "disappear from the schema", they're just completely overwritten by the regular key, having the same function and appearance but keeping the defindex

I'll just copy my comment from the other suggestion because noone seems to understand.

When Naughty/Nice Keys turn into regular keys, they don't actually turn into regular keys. Steam only gives them a new description and icon, to match that of a regular key. The item ID stays the same. So bp.tf will still show it and treat it as if it is a Nice/Naughty Key, even after it 'transformed' into a regular Mann Co Key. Naturally, noone will pay extra for a 'Nice/Naughty' key that for all intents and purposes looks like and gets treated as a regular key, meaning keeping the price high will throw off backpack values.

If you look up any special/seasonal key on bp.tf, you'll see they are all priced at 1 key, no matter what collectors with alt accounts sell them for. This is the reason why, and why proof isn't necessary. It's like having to prove a weapon should be 0.05 ref minimum.

Actually it should, and as a matter of fact, it is.

                      where's the proof?

"Proof in this case should not be necessary."

                        Such confuze...

                        Proof is always necessary.

did anyone in this thread actually read the suggester's comment beyond that sentence?

Please show me a TF2 steam inventory where this is still a naughty key and I will close it.
