SOLD

- http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10692137 - 1.33 Ref - 8 Months old Trade :)

Why 1.22 Ref? - Going down gradually is the best way to go :)

Why 1.33 Ref? - The majority of sellers are using this price point - thus it can't be ignored just yet

Half of unsolds seem a bit young and its surprising how there's only 1503 of them

Updated with more proof - Older trades :)

trade tf is not a valid proof... which in this case is your only proof, EZ d0wnv0t3

        Many sellers in the market

        No / Few Buyers

Indications that the price may be high

Any suggestions with figures would be appreciated,

No recorded recent item sales - thus the reason for unsolds

Suggestion of 1.22 is based on the logic that users are not buying the item because the price is too high - thus the price needs to fall

        Needs 1.22 sales :3

I only found 1 sale - That was at 1.33 Ref - the rest are all unsold. Suggesting 1.22 because of Unsolds at 1.33 Ref. A common pricing method used when the current prices have a lack of a sale

I don't quite feel that unfolds are enough. I'd say you need to back it up with either sales or sellers at the lower range. There may just not be enough current demand. Just because they are not selling doesn't mean they are worthless. We can't price them at .11 because of a lack of proof, just like we can't for 1.22

              There are no sellers at a lower price point at the moment;

Only Sold item was for an ad that is still active - but was created 8 months ago

Many with Unsolds at 1.33 Ref

Any suggestions as to the pricing?

I'll see how things go :)

No sales at 1.22 ref. Sorry, but with no proof for the suggested price, I must downvote.

Many unsolds at the current price point. High supply and low demand indicates that the price may be too high.

Or it just means people are unaware of this item. Also, I wouldn't call an item with a total of 1505 of them in the game that only has 9 listings in high supply. This little batch of 9 represents 0.59% of the 1505 in the game.

Stock weapons have item totals of 15,000 to 30,000; However, when it comes to sales, there are quite few, sometimes it's tough to get more than a handful of trades at a given time.

Any counter proof of suggested range / evidence would be great.

Some trades have been voted on as there is no much evidence of sales, just using a similar approach. The logic is that the price is currently too high and must go down.

                For example - http://backpack.tf/vote/id/528923ab4dd7b8287a8b4569

In that case, the unsolds had a range of figures to choose from, however, the general argument was that the price was too high, due to the unsolds on the market.

Unsolds are not valid proof for an arbitrarily lower price. Without sellers at 1.22 ref, it does not belong in range.

            Closing for insufficient evidence
