Loads of successful buyers at 1 very quickly puts 1 in the range despite the lack of sellers. Sellers still having success at 1.2, so its in the range (more proof of that will be added soon)
Also, bunch of sales still up at 1 if you're looking to make a quick ref :P
Why do I still have unsolds in there?
Idunno,
makes my suggestion look betterproves how truly instable the price of the kringle isWell done, good price now I think. Up vote.
I thought
1.2 keys = 1 key + 1 ref
1.1 keys = 1 key + 0.44-066 refish
Mind=Fuckinblown.
I humbly request a mod to clear this up. This suggestion does not make sense according to my point of view.
first off, your math is wrong, if you read all of the comments then you'd know about the whole range error thing
you arent the only person to think this, so Ill just make a comment specifying that
1.1=7.77
1.2=8.44
but if keys are going up shouldn't hats and miscs go up with them?
if its refs that are dropping then shouldn't all hats and miscs that are worth refs go up dramatically?
no... nononononononononononono
if the hats were priced in ref they would (i.e. asking for 8 ref on something, the hats value would go down as keys went up) but inflation doensnt effect they're prices
this guy has his math done right according to current key prices :p
he did or I did? :o
well my comment was on your comment now wasn't it >>
it was on the CRAZED STRANGE COLECTOR's post, but I assume you mean mine by what you said :3
cant comment on dat, so ill put it here
http://i.imgur.com/PZ7rNz9.png
nope my comment was on yours, check the little guiding lines
The preference here is to go out to two decimal places and to maybe use 1.15 as the representation for 1 key + 1 ref. 1.1 keys is a closer approximation of 1 key + 1 ref than 1.2 keys and with the current trend of keys, that approximation only seems to be getting closer. More and more people are also using that in classifieds.
Having said that, I don't have any problem with the range of 1.1-1.2 as it clearly captures the most commonly traded value here.
1.2 = 8ref / 1key + 1ref
Doubt this will get a minor update, since mine didn't get accepted when keys were at 1.15 = 1key + 1ref http://backpack.tf/vote/id/529ce22c4dd7b85b598b4568
Also Kringle standing pretty strong, tried reducing it twice - http://backpack.tf/vote/id/5262d46a4dd7b81f168b4568 & http://backpack.tf/vote/id/5275246c4dd7b8480e8b4568
I don't see the point of this suggestion tbh.
Agreed, it's makes the S.Degreaser proud.
1.1=7.77
1.2=8.44
1.14=8
Range encompasses the majority of my sales, but rozsef pointed out that 1.2 still happens
the 1 key sellers prove it does need to go down, but they go pretty fast
no one is selling at 1.1, but 1.1.5-2 is just dumb, so its a median for the quicksells but consistent sellers at 1
and yeah, i was informed in the last suggestion how dumb this suggestion is, the point being that
i dont want all dis proof to go to wasteits a difference, and I can prove it needs to go downKringle hates going down, and I hate making it go down
this is too long, I should stop here
or not
my last suggestion for the kringle had the same issue in the comments
I changed the price by 2 scrap, and no one understood the point
your hi5 suggestion was closed because the pricing terminology didnt shift from the last suggestion to yours, not because of how useful the change was
I appreciate the links and help though
If you would value 1.1 as 1key + 1ref when the key:metal rate is at 1:7 it would be really confusing..
So all 1.8 & 1.9 prices would be what? since 1.7 is 2keys in that case and 1.8 is 2keys + 1ref.. Kinda see the problem? :P
I didnt say 1.1 is 1 key+1 ref tho, its 1.14, which this range encompasses
1.1 is commonly used as 1 key 1 ref though
Im using your hi5 suggestion as a precedent
Also, you don't make any sense at all..
You say 1.14 = 8ref / 1key + 1ref but you still have your links listed at 1.1 when they say 1key + 1ref... You clearly don't understand the rules - I'd suggest you read them.
oh, I must've deleted that comment
I had put there that by 1.1 I meant 1 key 1 ref, I was just too lazy to replace them all
Trust me, after over a hundred suggestions Ive read the rules once or twice :3
OK - well yeah that's why I reply, cuz I don't think you're a troll.
I just hope you realize the problem caused with all the decimals. GL ^^
yeah, I do, 7 as a key price is a weird split
I appreciate the advice, you're probably the best to give it to me with the experience you've had in these situations
Imma ride this one out for a bit, but if it looks like its going downhill i wont make any other kringle suggestions for a bit
1 key 1 ref is NOT 1.1
1 key 0.66 is 1.1
Woifi agrees with me
Woifi, on 08 Jan 2014 - 1:06 PM, said:
If people use 1.1 as 1 ref, they should buy my keys for 10 ref.
you should read all the comments before posting
I read them, I still completely disagree with 1 key 1 ref being 1.1 keys
1.1=7.77
1.2=8.44
1.14=8

I said all that in the discussion with d0, I can elaborate if you wish
It's only the matter if opinions. So back then when .2 was supposed to = 1 ref when 6 ref was established, does that mean .2 x 5 = 5 ref only? No. It is simply placeholders by rough estimate.
