Conclusion
Only 2 legit sales I could find of this item. Pretty simple suggestion to put together. 0.8 buds is roughly 15.2 keys and 0.9 buds is ~17.1, so the Buyout(s) on Outpost don't effect the range much, especially since only one person is selling for 16 keys. The 14 key sales in the first suggestion that I'm countering are indeed quicksales since they sold quick, and why I didn't use them here. Any Extra Proof/Cunter-Proof/Opinions/Tips/Help is all welcome. Thanks for reading. Feedback is always appreciated.
If 0.8 buds is roughly 15 keys and 0.9 buds is roughly 17 keys, like you said in the last paragraph, why have you put the range as 15-16 keys and not 15-17 keys?
Also, doing the maths myself I got:
0.8 buds = 15.6 keys = ~16 keys
0.9 buds = 17.55 keys = ~18 keys
So shouldn't the range really be 16-18 keys?
Current trades:
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17230218 (b/o 16 keys)
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/16295527 (b/o 20 keys)
Accepted 14 keys
19 (keys in a bud) * 0.9 (Bliz. Hotrod) = 17.1, no?
High-end is 16 keys instead of 17 because of the Buyout at 16 keys.
A bud is 19-20?
Why does everyone take the mid- to high-price of the bud? You're supposed to take the low-end of any item
Where does it say this stuff :V is there a super duper flooper "Ultimate Pricing Guide" on the forums somewhere I could read up on?
It's just common sense
I musn't be common then xD are you saying that you'd price this item the same even if buds were valued at 19 flat, since they both have the same "low end?" Cos that doesn't make much sense to me
Yes, because we have no way of knowing if they'd sell for 19 keys, 20 keys, higher, or lower. You should do that with all items, even if the items are currency. It's not like if someone pays a 3-4 ref item for something you're pricing that you value the sale at 3.5 or 4 ref, right? What's the difference with buds? Aren't they cosmetic items?
I guess if you put it that way. I still feel the same way, but I sorta get it now. Ehh, it'll come with time, thanks.
It's a currency and not even falling in price, therefor 19.5 is the way to go.
So should I re-suggest? Or is this good enough?
The first sale would come out to ~15.6 keys and the second is ~17.5
Someone asking 16 keys and ranges are preferred
So should I re-suggest that small of an update?
