This is my first suggestion. It's very hard to find these outside sets or without parts and killstreaks. There are few on the market. A lot of the trades don't mention what they were sold for.

Basically, if you look through trade histories, 2 buds was possible a few weeks ago but not anymore. So I'm tentatively suggesting 1.5 buds or 30 keys, the most common sale price I found within the last week or so.

all australium weapons come with a random prof killstreak

No they don't. Only the pan does.

I think that in these days 1.5 is an excellent suggestion, but we have to consider that maybe in two months it will cost 1 bud, one month later 15 keys and so on.

      Why?

Because it will be common to get an "Australium Weapon", I think that is just like the “Botkiller Weapons”.

      Am I right?

Even so, better to have a current price right now then wait 2 months to price it, we can always update prices later.

Of course, that's why I upvote.

I'm just saying what I think that will happen with the "Australium Weapons" in the future for the people who thinks that the price is too high

actually, australiums have a much smaller chance of dropping as opposed to rare botkillers. Even then, professional fabricators have a smaller chance of dropping as to rare botkillers. As opposed to the dangling heads coming off of the weapons, these drops are worthwhile for the sheens, eye effects, and the fact that you have a solid gold weapon.

I already know all that info dude, but we have to deal with the fact that sooner or later (of course later) the price will go down, not tomorrow, not next week, but it will go down because even considering that is smaller the chance to get an australium than a botkiller, stills been possible to get it, just take a look to the community market, see the lifetime graph and you will see how often people buy a Australium Grenade Launcher then and now, Why? Because there are more every day

Backapack.tf's goal is to reflect current prices as accurately as possible. If we look even 1 week into the future, then many things can change.

Perhaps Valve recalls them? Perhaps the rarity increases? Valve has been known to do this before.

So for the sake of both arguement and time-wasting, we will put a price that is current as to what People are paying RIGHT NOW.

Ok, calm down; I regret all I said, except for the part that “1.5 is an excellent suggestion”.

Australium Sniper Rifle it's priced, and I sold one GL for Scattergun + 5 keys

Range should be 1.5 to 1.8, that would be the most reasonable range.

                what happened to your ban:(

Not bad for a first suggestion man

and good, neat, and organised proof. Upvote!

I really with there was an "about" or "around" button for suggestions.

Your proof suggests ~1.5 buds, but there's a little bit of variation. I think it needs a little bit of a range.

First of all 1.5 buds is more like 29 keys, just saying

Second of all, if there are TONS of buyers and offer at 30, and it's extremely easy to find a buyer for that amount perhaps 1.5 flat is a bit too low?

Final point, your own proof has problems

                  SOLD for 30 keys:

                  http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17199267 - Valid

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17087114 - Took less than 5 hours to sell, the offer was made after 1 hour, quicksale

                  http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/16277445 - 1 month ago, invalid

Already 1/3 is invalid and 1 is a quicksale, pretty invalid as well

                  Considering offer of 30 keys:

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17100804 - C/O is not exactly "considering" and has an offer of Australium Knife (1.5 - 2) which is AT LEAST 1.5, depends if you calculate overpay or not and if you calculate how, mid * 0.9 or low end

                  SOLD for 32:

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/16715550 - 3 weeks, if it's outdated no point in being here, if it's considered valid enough it supports a range and not flat price, also it took less than an hour to sell, quicksale?...

                  SOLD for 30ish keys?:

                  http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/16739234 - Unknown

                  Unsold at 34:

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17290019 - Declined a 30 offer, has an added comment and ONLY 1 day old, not a valid unsold

                  Unsold at 36 keys:

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17323882 - 7 hours old, NOT BY ANY MEAN valid unsold

                  Unsold at 38 keys:

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17323766 - Claims to have a C/O of 36, next Saturday however, and yet still above this flat 1.5 range, also it's 7 hours old and unbumped, NOT BY ANY MEAN valid unsold

                  SOLD for 2 buds:

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/16586005 - 3 weeks ago, if it's valid then why no range? if it's not shouldn't be here

                  http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/15986812 - 1 month old, outdated

                  I stopped here

Now 1 month might be acceptable, I just don't think it is because it's not an unusual but you should wait for a mod, I might be mistaken

I'm uncertain even more about 3 weeks so wait for a mod

If you have sales at higher than 30 why 30 flat? and again, 1.5 is actually 29 keys

Not a bad first suggestion, pretty good in matter of fact, still has some room for improvement

i think 1 month old on australiums is out of the Q....Sincer that month theres been a 2 cities frenzy and tons of australiums surfaced since then and the rarity just isnt there anymore.

rarity has nothing to do with value

when it's an item like this that is in demand, it does have an impact.

Alright. The two key elements of pricing things is Supply and Demand. None else.

Now, demand is a key thing, whereas supply isn't the largest factor here, but it still can make a good impact, especially if it's something renewable like this or something not available to get, as, say it's an item Valve sent as customer support.

These things are in high demand currently, so it's gonna be high. Even when these do increase in supply, these very well may stay well expensive because god knows we all want a solid gold item. Especially when it counts our kills.

Well done, you should make a counter suggestion!

needs a range. friend of me sold it for 3 buds 2 weeks ago.

                        http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17270099 2 buds

could't find many sellers at 1.5 maybe should be 1.5 - 2.0 not sure.

Thats ofcourse considering the 3 sold at 2 buds or higher.

                        Neutral for now.

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17220586 sold for Australium Scattergun + 5 keys. You will need to remake this suggestion.

                            Its not my suggestion. :P

It's for the suggestion guy :3

The link you put is invalid due to the Aus Grenade Launcher having a pro kit on it.

                                  Specialized*

Ahh there was a lot of stuff on it so I sort of went over it quick, but still that adds a few extra keys to it.

I traded a Grand Master for an Australium GL 1:1 a week ago. 1.5 is definitely the very low end these are being sold.

                          http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17056486

I traded mine for a Blizzard Front Runner. This was add/private offer

                              i suggest 2.5 buds.

In my opinion that’s too much; I suggest 1.5 - 2 buds, considering the current market.

If their lots people selling at 2 buds buyout then 2.5 is out of range, it would't make any sense.
