I know I haven't exactly proven below 2 is a quicksell
However, with the amount of 2 sales that mostly happened fast (some without a bump, most few hours to 1 day top) I think that even 2 is a kind of quicksale and if it's so easy to sell at 2, why quickselling for less?
If it's important to show anything below to is a quicksell I'll show it but I think the amount and speed 2 sells for is enough
Lot of your links are closed trades that did't sell while 1 link is still selling.
only few did sell.
atleast if i do check the history's it still shows seller as owner.
Check backpacks...
Outpost history is known for troubles
When you check backpacks, you find that they all indeed sell, at least my outpost links, which are most of the proof
Alright checked 1 random link and outpost shows in backpack backpack.tf does't show it.
Upvote :)
Sold below 2 keys (not quicksell):
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/16744616 - multiple adds at 1 key 5.33
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17201219 - 6 days post c/o is 1 key 6 ref only
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17313360 - 1 key 6 ref sold in 1 day
Unsold for 2 keys or below:
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17333236 -- unsold at 1 key 6 ref
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17273275 - 2 keys unsold for 2 days (still unsold)
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17338735 - 2 keys unsold
These show that buying under 2 keys is possible within reasonable time and pricing at 2 keys does not make your degreaser sells like a cake
First of all you got 3 links below 2, not really showing anything
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/16744616 - Last add was over a week ago, no comments of buying from past week
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17201219 - Poorly bumped trade, C/O of 1 key 6 ref, doesn't mean anything
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17313360 - Sold for ~1.9 in less than a day, the beginning of the offers was like 7 hours (probably 2nd bump)
Even your links are showing that 2 is the most common price and below is usually fast or at least not that easy to buy
Also
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17333236 - Unsold at 1 key 6 ref, SOLD
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17273275 - Poorly bumped, not valid unsold
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17338735 - 21 hours and unbumped, not valid unsold, has an offer of buying it with items
Conclusion:
Your proof shows nothing, especially when it's compared to the amount of quick sales at 2
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17294729 sold my first one in 30 min, sold 2 the next day and sold my last one today
I sold mine S. Degreaser for 2 keys and 1 ref
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17356770
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17180656 I bought one for 13.33.
I'll stay neutral for now.
Actually thank you for your SUPPORTING proof
You are a quickbuyer, at the mid price and it took you 4 days to buy, which shows that even buyers are low end can't seem to buy fast
He was quickselling anyways, it had parts as well and by any mean it was a quicksell and you were a quickbuyer
As a quickbuyer you were buying for mid price (13.33 ref or 1 key 6.33 ref) and that took you 4 days which actually proved mid price is way too low and is a quicksell, if it was supposed to be in price then it'd take you less than a day to buy, took you 4
Edited, thank you for your correction Cokoboko #545, I made a mistake with low and mid
thats actually 1.9 keys
1 key 6.66 is definitely not a quickbuyer
It is if it has parts -__-
ur trade is 6 day old and seller comment said added for degreaser is 2 day old means 6-2=4 ( mathematic genius :P ) so means took u 4 days to buy a degreaser at 13.33 ref ye u prooved that buying degreaser at 1.8 key is really hard :)
You need proof of unsold at 1.8
No I don't, if ANYTHING I need to show 1.8 is a quicksell
Since 2 is selling that easily, I think it's enough, if a mod will say it's not I'll search for it
Also I have 1 proof in comments of a quickbuyer that had trouble buying at 1.9, took him 4 days, which also shows anything below 2 is a quicksell
There maybe even more trades going on at the range below 2 keys
You cannot say 2 key should be the clear-cut price just because they "seem to" sell fast
How you can get unsolds for 1.8 when 1.9 is hard to buy? LOL
http://i902.photobucket.com/albums/ac227/Samuel_Lai/proof_zpsa2f659e2.jpg
My own trade history
multiple deals ranging from 1 key 5.33 to 2 keys
most of the s degreasers I buy are priced at 1 key 6 ref
and I think a range is just fine
There are even unsold at 1.75 and 1.8 in classified posts
At the time I am writing this, there is one for less than 2 keys and the seller is offline.
Extra proof:
http://i902.photobucket.com/albums/ac227/Samuel_Lai/proof1_zpsf36bf90d.jpg - 1 key 6 ref sold
http://i902.photobucket.com/albums/ac227/Samuel_Lai/proof2_zpsac193d87.jpg - 2 keys (with 3 extra parts) sold
http://i902.photobucket.com/albums/ac227/Samuel_Lai/proof3_zpsba08b808.jpg - 1 key 5.66 sold
A lot of trades below 2 keys are going on
You are a quickbuyer, again, it shows nothing
It's a fact that it's possible to buy for less, but when you truly examine anything below 2, it's almost always a quicksell
Also, as I recall from Blind Polar Bear and other mods, the purpose of this trade is showing the most common price, there will always be sales below and above
And from that, by ANY definition 2 is the most common price
Dun understand why I am a quickbuyer. I only buy them 1 ref less.
You yourself are selling them for two keys each. You're providing your own counter-proof; two keys is the common price. Whether or not you're actually buying them for lower doesn't mean much when the vast majority is selling for two keys.
becoz 2 keys are covered in the range
I buy from the range and sell from the range
I think that's meaning of having a range
Sure, but you completely overlooked the part about, "The Vast Majority". You're using the range, yes, but you're selling the item for the price you're so against. It seems a bit counter-intuitive.
half of my trades are done below the clear-cut price
its definitely not counter-intuitive
plus the fact that I still have stock unsold at the 2 key price
therefore I dun think a clear-cut 2 key price is reflecting the market correctly
Quickbuyers always exist.
Look at the classified posts
There are atm 3 people, excluding me, selling degreasers:
1. One trader is selling 4 degreasers for 2 keys and they are all still in bp after 17 hours
2. One trader is selling for 2 keys. 3 days after he cannot sell one (2 in bp now, same as the day he post his classified post)
3. One trader is selling for 2 keys, still in bp after 17 hours.
Conclusion: 2 keys is not selling as fast as suggestor describe that can immediately dispute any price below is quicksell
First of all 2 keys does sell fast
Classifieds unsolds isn't at all a normal unsold like outpost and if people are selling many degreasers they could've sold some
You are a quickbuyer and if you don't understand why it's hard to have anormal discussion with you
If I show you over 20 links of people who sold their Strange Degreasers in less than a day, few hours or without a bump, it is selling fast
So far you had almost 0 valid links to show anything below 2 doesn't sell quickly

those all look like fairly quick sales to me /offline / poorly bumped. Most have sold in <1 day. I don't know whether to classify ALL sales under 1 day as quicksales or whether 1.8 seems reasonable and its just an in demand item.....
They may sell fast in a sense but the fact is that there are HUGE number of trades going on below 2 keys. It is not normal for any strange that have so many quicksells right?
http://i902.photobucket.com/albums/ac227/Samuel_Lai/trade1_zps10b693c0.jpg -- 2 keys for degreaser and strange hitman (1.33 ref)
http://i902.photobucket.com/albums/ac227/Samuel_Lai/trade5_zps13130e32.jpg -- 1 key 3.55
http://i902.photobucket.com/albums/ac227/Samuel_Lai/trade4_zps1b08e789.jpg -- 2 keys for degreaser and festive axtinguisher and vintage cloak and dagger (1.66 in total)
http://i902.photobucket.com/albums/ac227/Samuel_Lai/trade2_zpsb0e77933.jpg -- 1 key 6 ref
http://i902.photobucket.com/albums/ac227/Samuel_Lai/trade3_zpsd67b04a5.jpg -- 2 keys for 2 parts (allies + posthumous: 3.33 ref)
i cant tell how long those trades were up, and if they were quicksales/no. Also i usually sell for 1.8, but if they sell for 2 keys next time i unbox one i might try at 2 keys. So im still neutral.
First of all you're buying (I won't start quickbuyer or not discussion here) for 1.9 (ABOVE 1.8....)
Second of all you're a bulk buyer for 1.9 which makes it pretty much obvious that if anyone wants to get rid of his Strange Degreaser fast he can just trade you, which, again, makes 1.8 irrelevant and perhaps (I claim you're a quickbuyer as for a pure bulk buyer, you claim you're not, we'll see what mods think) even 1.9 is irrelevant, if you're a quickbuyer that makes 1.9 too low as well, if you're not it makes 1.9 a low end
Third point is that all your "counter-proof" is just showing 1 buyer, as I recall 1 person doesn't represent the market
Fourth point is that d0's counter-proof is only quicksales as well, quicksells shouldn't affect price which makes his counter-proof useless as well
Final point, this site purpose is to show the most commonly traded price, therefore, if I show you TONS of successful 2 keys sellers, who not only sold theirs for 2 keys pure but also sold it very fast
And you and d0 show me a list of quicksales or quickdeals (even if you're a buyer and not a quickbuyer, you're just 1 compared to many) I can still say 2 is the most commonly traded price
Because I still have much more proof
You are just 1 successful buyer at 1.9 and not 1.8
Quicksales and Quicksells shouldn't affect price
Quickbuyers shouldn't affect price
Conclusion:
Your counter-proof is pretty much invalid, even if it is valid, you're just 1 buyer
d0's counter-proof is 100% quicksales which shouldn't affect price, invalid
My proof shows that 2 is the most commonly traded price, which is the site's purpose

These are all sales from the past 24 hours
Notice how most of them took few hours only, which is pretty fast
By the way, I just noticed, you sold TONS of Strange Degreasers for 2 keys each
So you are indeed, after all, a quickbuyer
A quickbuyer is usually someone who can buy many, pays in pure, pay less than real price or what it should worth, re-sells
As someone who is a bulk buyer with pure for 1.9 and then re-sells at 2, you are a quickbuyer and the fact that you sell many for 2 as well shows 2 is very easy
If 2 sells that fast, and anything below sell even faster, how is that not a quicksell?
Your Counter-Proof:
L1 - Sold for 1, which is already a quicksell, sold without a bump (quicksale...)
L2 - Sold for 1.3, which is already a quicksell, sold without a bump (quicksale...)
L3 - Unknown when exactly but sold extremely fast, 1.5 anyways (quicksale...)
L4 - Unknown when exactly and what price, probably sold quickly, 1.5 which is a quicksell anyways (quicksale...)
L5 - Sold for 1.5 in less than an hour (quicksale...)
L6 - Sold for ~1.75 in 1 bump or 30 minutes (quicksale...)
L7 - Sold for 1.8 without a bump (quicksale...)
L8 - Sold for 1.8 (had 1 part though) without a bump (quicksale...)
L9 - Sold for 1.9 without a bump (quicksale...)
L10 - Sold for 2 keys (had 2 parts, doesn't necessarily make a change in price) in less than 17 hours (probably much faster, quicksale...)
L11 - Same as above but even more unknown time, probably fast as well
L12 - Unknown time, had 1 part which doesn't necessarily make a change in price
L13 - Sold for 2 keys (had 1 part, doesn't necessarily make a change in price) in less than 6 hours (quicksale...)
ALL your links are quicksales
Parts at 2 doesn't necessarily make a change in price, and they were all quicksales anyways
I still have MUCH more QUICK solds at 2
I sold mine for 1k 5 ref in under 5 mins, upvote
1 key 5 ref is even lower than 1.8 key (1 key 5.66)
With trade.tf, yours is gone in 5 mins is normal even in the current price
good proof . Upvote !
