Hat #1 shows a sale and some offers above the current range.
Hat #3 shows a sale of a duped hat for above the current range, and a sale for below the current range. Taking its dupedness into account, this still seems to fit into my proposed range.
Hat #2 shows an inexperienced trader creating several outliers, by trading a 5.5 bud hat for a 2.5 bud hat over the course of 2 trades. Pretty hilarious if you ask me.
original values and overpay used?
shit, forgot about that
I've edited them in, still fits with my range.
I see a sale at 2.2 and 2.7
I've identified the 2.2 as an outlier (trader seems inexperienced), and the 2.7 is for a duped hat, so also somewhat of an outlier.
Where does 3.4 and 4 come from? There are no sales whatsoever at those prices
Beams noir is actually 3.4 based on original values.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17280570 - b/o 3; quicksell?
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17037156 - 3.5 - stormy tyrants + 1
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17397913 - 3.2? - mn hotrod - older price though
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17217719 - 3.5 - mn scopers?
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17187957 - 3.7 in value, though b/o was 3
Seems like there isn't much of a price difference between the cleans and dupes here with both having sales from 3-4. This is a tough call with a few sales around 3-3.2. But it seems like all of those sales went quickly. I can't decide if 3-4 would be better than 3.4-4. Will see what another mod says.
both of the b/o's at 3 had closed their trade in 2-3 days.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17509846 there is a b/o at 3.5, think its clean, everyone else is asking 4. maybe both 3 and 4 are outliers and the range should be something in between, like 3.5-3.6 or 3.2-3.8
i feel this suggested range is a little to high though
Yeah. In situations like this, instead of narrowing the range, sometimes I'm in favor of widening it to include all sales especially since the number of sales at 3-3.2 and 3.7-4 are hard to ignore
Sales at 4? Maybe I'm blind but I can't see any proof of 4 here. But I trust my eyes and close this. ;)
