people are willing to offer more than 1.4 so it really shouldnt be in the range, but then again 3.8 seems to be an outlier. median value of the two trades is 2.4 buds. listing in classifieds has b/o of 2.5. basing this range slightly off offers but it's really the only way to do it.

No, it's called just waiting and making a proper suggestion on it. Why rush this with offers instead of making a solid suggestion based mainly on sales instead?
It is not appropriate to use mean values to set values, especially on sales that are so far apart. In these situations, just wait on more sales.

That offer of burning mullet if they add 1 would actually be exactly 2.4. This suggestion actually looks close to the value of sales and high end offers.
