People are selling it for 3 REF, so price isn't current
3 ref sellers:

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17162472
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/1987189 - 0 LEFT :D

I could use a similar logic to argue that the price should be 1.66 Ref - 2 Ref based on the buyers in the market.
Another method is to take the 2 extremes
MASS SELLER
Puddington- Selling at 3.66 Ref - http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/14464520MASS BUYER
Mr. Bucket- Buying at 1.66 Ref - http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9599728That would make the range 1.66 Ref - 3.66 Ref :)
However, when making suggestions you need to look at the median price of items sold - that is, the most commonly sold price, or a range that captures that accurately.
Need more proof like that as well as proof showing that below 2.88 is quicksale.
EDIT: Selling is also different to sold. You need proven sales to increase the price. I put 10keys as my price, it doesn't make them worth 10keys.
But now it'll cost 1.5 times as much to paint my stuff....
Ohwait, no proof.
Not enough proof. You need more solds, sellers, and buyers at 2.88-3 ref. You also need more unsolds. Going to downvote.
3 ref sellers =/= sold, therefore not currency
