By Gaben's beard!
4 in existence; 2 on OP; 1 successful sale
Sellers:
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17384005 - Taking offers, bought for 4 pure
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17143153 - Tentative B/O of 5
Doritos got his from Dopp, and here's a list of offers from Dopp's 3 trades he had open:
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/16852944
-SF Scatter (3 buds at the time) + Gifted SF Bat (17-18 keys ungifted since idk how to calculate gifted prices without BP.TF :c) - Offer totals to just under 4 buds value
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/15813708
-Moon Carousers (3-3.3 buds at the time) + 38 keys (buds were 18-20 at this time) - Offer totals to around 5+ buds mixed
-SF Scatter (3-3.3 buds at the time) + SF Grenade (10 keys at the time) + Robro Strangifier (Strangifier by itself was probably worth 7ish keys judging by the value of the actual RoBro) ~4ish bud offer
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/15887612
-Burning Guad (5.5-6.5 buds at the time) + 1 bud - *holy shit* offer of ~7
Seller Values:
-One sale at 4 pure, does NOT have a B/O currently
-B/O of Tentative 5
Total offer values:
-SF Scatter + Gifted SF Bat = 4
-Moon Carousers + 38 keys = 5-5.3
-SF Scatter + SF Grenade + Robro Strangifier = ~4ish
-Burning Guad + 1 bud = 7 (middle value)
IF MY VALUES ARE OFF PLEASE TELL ME
IF YOU HAVE ANY RECOMMENDATIONS FOR A DIFFERENT RANGE TELL ME
Just because someone has a "tentative" buyout of 5 buds doesn't mean it should be in range
Needs 2 sales
So a full-on buyout like "my B/O is 5 buds" would count as in-range?
What people want should not influence what an item should be priced at.
Unless said wanting (B/O) is lower than the item's original value
Yeah, sorry, because you can't have a higher price than what someone wants
But if you show a Buyout at 5, and no proof that it can sell at 5, it shouldn't be in range
haha funny suggest for a collector
Offers are utterly useless in this suggestion. So are buyouts. Real sales are all that count when trying to set a price for an item. And anything a month or more ago shouldn't be included. That's too far of a timezone for it to actively reflect the market of this item.
Selling =/= sold.
Also some of the sellers have pro and spec killstreakers which up the price of those.
Pro and spec only add as much value as people are willing to pay.
Hmm. I didn't realize that the 4 pure sale and the offers were from the same trade. Looks like a flat 4 here. The hype on collectors has shot down dramatically and distant offers (>2-3 weeks) are honestly not really reliable in dictating a current price. The fact that Dopp lowered his price from 8 to 4 highly suggests that that is the case on this collector as well.
All prices on this website are based in pure and an item should not be valued above its b/o. The b/o and sale were at 4. There are enough offers to support that, but this should probably be 4 flat then. Though the best thing would be to wait for one more sale to set a range.
I'll do this. I saw on OP there's someone buying the kit for 1 bud (he wants the objector), and another person already has the kit and is ~1/2 done with it. People have probably seen these suggestions and decided that there'll be nice market profit in it for them, leading to some sales for proof (hopfully).
I found a collectors chem set a few days ago, gave it away and I was shocked that it was gonna get priced at 4-5. Once i look at your proof im like.. EHHHHHHHHHHHHH, this kid.
Why'd you give it away?
you tink iz c00l to buy 200 objectors?!?!?!
I tink iz c00l
