Well, in the past I've used 3 buds as an arbitrary cut-off. It is highly variable. On rare hats, I've seen it matter on hats ~2 buds in value (fettis, logos, halloween stuff). On common hats, I've seen it make no difference on hats 4-5 in value. So there isn't really a hard, fast rule. My concern here is that your high end is based on that. And that you are raising the value here significantly based on a duped sale, even from the original suggested price. I'll wait for another mod to chime in here as well. Obviously, the best thing would be to make a mini-suggestion on that scorching elfin in particular to see if it sells for 3.8
