Current price on this hat is definitely higher than what it's actually trading at.

Sale 1: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/16690217. Trades the Sulphurous Modest 1:1 for a Miami Nights Bonk Boy (listed at 12.3 on this site). Assuming 0.9 buds overpay, you'd be looking at around 11.4 buds.

Sale 2: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17470828. Hitman MP buys a Sulph Modest apparently 1:1 for a Hearts Bonk Boy (10 buds, 9.1 assuming 0.9 overpay)

Sale 3: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17457991 Hitman MP then cashes out the Sulph Modest with a 10-bud B/O.

The hat traded three times in the last week alone for hats in the range I describe, despite being one of three in existence. Previous price is also seven months old.

Sale #1:

Modest was offered, no overpay needed

Miami Bonk Boy original price is 13.9 - 15, ~14.5 (rounding up...)

Total Sale: ~14.5

Sale #2:

NO SALE, and again, modest was offered so no overpay and it was retracted

At least no for "Hearts" (Cloud 9) Bonk Boy

Not sure what he sold for, not as you stated anyways

He also had an offer of Miami Anger, original price is 8 - 9, ~7.7 after overpay + 1 Buds + Collector's Festive Jarate

AT LEAST 9.1 (Anger + Buds = 8.7 and it's collector's festive)

Sale #3:

He had a B/O of 10, his trade was opened for 2 days, quicksale?...

He was probably quickselling....

No original prices, good overpay or even attention to details

I don't know where you're getting those numbers from, but on this website, the MiamI Nights Bonk Boy is listed at 11.8 to 12.7 buds.

It's called original prices

The price you see is sometimes inflated and misleading

You need to go to the item's stats and see the last price, which is in this case 13.9 - 15

First of all, it's unknown what Hitman MP sold for, after January 24th no Modest in backpack but nothing else valuable, not sure what exactly happened

Hitman MP bought it with a Burning Bicorne

Burning Bicorne price is 4 month old, considered somewhat invalid, I think you can use on a hat like this, ask mods

However the original price is 16, ~14.4

It's invalid because of old price, but it will probably not drop too much below to make is ~10 or so

Your "real" sales, that can be considered are: Burning Bicorne (?), Miami Bonk Boy

Since the sales are: 11.7 and 14.5, you need to wait or find another sale, and find the outlier

I can assure you that the B/O of 10 by Hitman MP is an outlier

I just sold my C9 Modest for this + 1 bud in sweets, so I don't believe the new range would support this.
